Was the longer riffs and runs explained video removed? I wanted to see it again because I can't remember the artist you played who sung the melody of the instruments before they started playing in the actual song.
I don't get why folks always drag Keke for always doing the song, it's literally a crowd pleaser that pays her bills. Especially considering she doesn't have a well known catalogue. How could she not sing the song that keeps her viral? She gotta feed them fifty'leven children somehow.
Social media is not always an accurate representation of real life. I've seen her live twice, and the audience looks forward to seeing how long she can hold this run and even counts with her.
I mean we still love the song but why isn’t she being given new music! We enjoy what she does but why aren’t the producers going after making real masterpieces again!
besides patti's legendary vocal delivery of this classic, my top 3 renditions of this song is mariah's essence award performance, SWV version (coko's high belting range is amazing) and last but not least important keke extraordinary singing for this song.
I think the MJ estate didn’t like it and hassled him to take it down. BMA ‘s thesis was well-supported and thoroughly analyzed and researched. I defy anyone to come up with a rebuttal analysis on TH-cam that is as well-written and researched as BMAs. MJ was singing hit songs compromised of 2 notes when Thriller came out. That wasn’t the singing we saw in 5 year old MJ. Come on y’all. Put respect on BMA!’s name!
BMA has BEEN a "catch 'em if you can" content creator, I'm assuming his work gets copyrighted often due to him using so much footage to explain his viewpoints. So to avoid too many violations he removes them after a certain time period.

I wish she would stop ruining one of Patti's classics. She's another one-dimensional singer ; no vocal creativity and no versatility at all. The same tired runs.
Keke Wyatt has a great natural talent that she has honed with years of training. But, she sounds more like a bleating goat than a musician. I'd rather hear Kim Burrell perform runs.

Maybe I need to attend more than one to really see.
