I know right... I always wonder when the employees transitioned into a new team and came up with lore like the Vala. I've heard someone say that Jill Goldspur in Jarlaheim spoke of ancient witches in a quest during 2018, but who knows 🤷♀ Hopefully Star Stable can stick to the original storyline and give us the true ending to this story which I believe they will do. I just hope they do it right, especially the lead up to it!
@feyafirelake i really try staying positive on that and believing they can deliver a good finish to this story but..at this point almost every move they make is disappointing
It's so cool to watch this, a mix between updated and not updated elements in the storylinequests. I had no idea thomas moorland got an irish cob horse now. Further, I think Darko is the one we really need to watch out for. If we are reïncarnated Aideen then he is probably her opposite, a reïncarnated demon. He has the same powers as the soul riders but then the dark version. Interdimensional travel when he send us away in the last storylinequest. Fire/lightning powers like Alex, destruction instead of healing like Lisa and he always knows how to trigger someones weak spot, he is always mocking everyone. I think he can sense weaknesses, that he has dark knowledge, opposite of linda, like the new moon. I noticed how Linda is always portrayed with the full moon, when it is in it's strongest light. I theorise our final boss battle will be with him, just us and Darko alone, perhaps we will even unlock a divine version of ourselves.
@@Creation_Mode Nice theory! Darko is def a demon… he’s always out for our asses 😂 I always wondered why Darko wasn’t a Dark Rider but he does has a strong influence on Dark Core and powers that can harm us
Just was reccomended this. God.. have we really gone this far into the story? Like, I remember the day I logged don to sso. Turst me it took me like 2 weeks to finally open my SSO, at one random midnight it opened and I was able custom, name my player and horse for first time in 2012..12 years later, the 12 year old me that started SSO is finally seeing the ending of SSO (story 1) tell you the truth, this was extremely heartbreaking as in losing a loved one but able to say goodbye to. I wonder what story is next for SSO in general.
I just watched it finally. When I first found your videos it was because I was looking up a lore video for the game thus far. I started playing in 2013 and was an impatient kid who didn't read the quests. I really wanted to understand the story better, because I didn't really start paying attention and wasn't familiar with anything in this video until the fort maria library/Anne being saved really. I really enjoyed the first few to get the background for the game but couldn't wait for this final installment because it's what I wanted the most. So glad to finally be watching it some months later. No one else is taking the time to do this, so I really appreciate you and your hard work making this video! Thank you. Can't believe the end is in sight, I wonder what the future of SSO will look like without a story and how players eager for quests will respond once they "beat the game". I sincerely hope the game continues after!
Thank you for taking the time to comment and watch my videos - I’m so happy this was the missing piece of the puzzle for you… and I’m sorry about it taking months 😅 I was honestly the same: I don’t think I ever properly read the dialogue until about saving Anne and I’m glad I was able to replay the quests properly on different account. I fell in love with the story which has driven me to make this as I haven’t seen anyone else do so yet! The end of Garnok is near but I’m sure the Soul Riders and main story won’t ❤
Thank you for telling the main storyline again. I played it through like 4 years ago and have forgotten about what I did. It's hard to feel invested in the story anymore these days, I just don't remember what I was doing and why.
This game was my literal childhood. But I don’t get why they changed the lore so much 😭 Tbh I quit the game because of how much they changed the lore and because I lost interest in it.
Thank you thank you so much for sharing the document and making these videos! I have needed a refresher on the lore and especially as it has changed a bunch!🥹🫶🏻
I kinda feel sad that the main story will soon come to an end. It's the story of sso I grew up with when I first started playing back in 2014. I kinda hope they'll create a new triloy of the Soulriders story. Just because the first one comes to an end doesn't mean they can't create new ones with different enemy's. The first one is the current one about the fight against Garnok. And the second one could mabye be about the player character discovering our family background and history. Who we are, who our parents are, if we have siblings etc. And if there's a reason why we became the fifth soulrider and not some other girl on Jorvik. We could discover that there is a dark twist to this. A dark reveal that will answer all our questions. And will meet our family for the first time since moving to Jorvik. Other interesting things they could explore in the new trilogy could be Alex taking over Elizabeth's role as leader of the Druids under Fripp. Elizabeth wanted her to take over this position after she died so it will be interesting to see how Alex will do as the new druid leader. Meanwhile Linda will move to London in Engeland to study at Oxford university and say goodbye to Jorvik for now. Lisa will revive her music career and her band and make new music. Then she'll make a choice to move to Nashville to accept an offer from a music label. Lisa also says goodbye. Anne will revive her dressage career. She stays on Jorvik like Alex. Anne wants to open up her own dressage school to train young dressage riders to become like her. She'll do this somewhere around the Beauvista stables up in North Jorvik. And then there's us left who will take a job at Herman's stables and help him reopen his closed off race arena at Jorvik stables (side story quest). The new Soulrider trilogy could start off like this: Fripp offers Anne to take over Elizabeth's position as leader of the Druids as that job is tied to the sun circle. Anne declines it nicely revealing her plans for her very own dressage school. Fripp is a bit dissapointed but understands it. He sets out within his druid community (sun circle druids) to ask someone else with just as much experience to take this job. So far no one wants it. Alex is upset that Fripp wouldn't even consider her. After all her hardwork and dedication she feels ignored by Fripp. She loses faith in herself. The player character and Rihannon decide to convince Fripp to make Alex their new leader and his partner. Fripp says that a Soulrider or a druid from any other circle besides the sun is not destined to lead us. Rihannon then plays the Elizabeth card which get's Fripp emotional and makes him see that Elizabeth did want Alex to follow her up. He then reaches out to Alex and tasks her with a few important Druid leadership missions Elizabeth did that involves showing off to the other Druids that she's a worthy leader. Alex evantually with some help from us and some obstackles on the way passes the tests. The next day Fripp and the druids hold a small ceremony at the druid paddock to officially make Alex the new Druid leader. She starts her first day as leader the following week where Fripp takes her on a secret mission after discovering some concerning developments in Pandoria where an internal war has started between Pandoric creatures. This is the cause of the Dark riders and Mr Sands performing the light ceremony reversed to unleash Garnok in to this world. It effected the balance between Jorvik and Pandoria. We may have stopped Garnok and his generals and banished them in to a cosmic world beyond time and space but the consequences remain. Dark negative energy has been unleashed that effects the daily lives of both people on Jorvik and the creatures in Pandoria. But Fripp wants to focus on restoring balance in Pandoria first. That's why he needs Alex's help. We will help the people on Jorvik once Fripp and Alex travel to Pandoria for a while. Evergrey has been working on a potion that will protect Alex from getting sick in Pandoria and effected. But before the Soulriders each go their own ways we're gonna camp in Wildwoods under the stars after the ceremony for Alex's new job. We bump in to a small conflict between Anne and Alex and a little adventure when some Pandoric creatures enter Wildwoods to spread the desease. After that we make a pact about our friendship marking a temporiarly goodbye. Between the tree's a mysterious new character (the player's lost sister) spies on us marking the start of the player's solo adventure. The Soulriders will evantually return later when this new threat conected to the player character and the secrets behind the druids is revealed. Alex will call on them as the story progresses.
@@jusssie010 It definitely will come to an end soon! I like your story, you seem to have it all mapped out 😅 The characters will mostly follow through with what you have said but it’s only a matter of time :)
