This game was my literal childhood. But I don’t get why they changed the lore so much 😭 Tbh I quit the game because of how much they changed the lore and because I lost interest in it.

It's so cool to watch this, a mix between updated and not updated elements in the storylinequests. I had no idea thomas moorland got an irish cob horse now. Further, I think Darko is the one we really need to watch out for. If we are reïncarnated Aideen then he is probably her opposite, a reïncarnated demon. He has the same powers as the soul riders but then the dark version. Interdimensional travel when he send us away in the last storylinequest. Fire/lightning powers like Alex, destruction instead of healing like Lisa and he always knows how to trigger someones weak spot, he is always mocking everyone. I think he can sense weaknesses, that he has dark knowledge, opposite of linda, like the new moon. I noticed how Linda is always portrayed with the full moon, when it is in it's strongest light. I theorise our final boss battle will be with him, just us and Darko alone, perhaps we will even unlock a divine version of ourselves.

Just was reccomended this. God.. have we really gone this far into the story? Like, I remember the day I logged don to sso. Turst me it took me like 2 weeks to finally open my SSO, at one random midnight it opened and I was able custom, name my player and horse for first time in 2012..12 years later, the 12 year old me that started SSO is finally seeing the ending of SSO (story 1) tell you the truth, this was extremely heartbreaking as in losing a loved one but able to say goodbye to. I wonder what story is next for SSO in general.

Honestly I find that music in the early main quests so scary. Idk if anyone know what I’m talking about

I just watched it finally. When I first found your videos it was because I was looking up a lore video for the game thus far. I started playing in 2013 and was an impatient kid who didn't read the quests. I really wanted to understand the story better, because I didn't really start paying attention and wasn't familiar with anything in this video until the fort maria library/Anne being saved really. I really enjoyed the first few to get the background for the game but couldn't wait for this final installment because it's what I wanted the most. So glad to finally be watching it some months later. No one else is taking the time to do this, so I really appreciate you and your hard work making this video! Thank you. Can't believe the end is in sight, I wonder what the future of SSO will look like without a story and how players eager for quests will respond once they "beat the game". I sincerely hope the game continues after!

in my head I just explained it as season riders being and alter universe without magic which is why katja is nicer because she's not magical and Sabine who wasn't originally a dark rider and isn't magical is still a brat

Sso definitely lost 80℅ of their main players who were invested in the original story. The original story was very interesting, had genuine mystery and a nostalgic vibe I know we all dearly were interested in. Miss it dearly.

i used to watch one of my favorite youtubers play this game. after i saw that video i started playing it when i was younger. even though i stopped playing I loved it since HTTYD was something i loved now and when i was really young.

Watching these series made me nostalgic about old sso. It used to be mysterious and thrilling with soundtracks and quests. I"ve been playing since 2012 and it makes me sad to see how much it has changed. It's like it's not connected to the lore at all. Great video ! ❤️

It's probably just a translation error, as the Hungarian translation is Katja. It's not surprising that it includes the gap in the wall of Pine Hill Manson, after all, that's what SSO was built on. But the game has changed a lot since then. In these 4 games, the main character we control is not the same as the one who appears in SSO. This becomes clear in the latest introductory mission. That is why the same person could not participate with Anne in the international tournaments. In the Summer Riders section, it is clear that the main character here and the main character in SSO are not the same, since in the main story of SSO we come to the summer camp, it is likely that he arrives on the first day of summer, because as far as I know the whole main story takes place during the summer holidays. My assumption is that we will defeat Garnok at the end of the summer and then move to Jorvik for good. Because I don't think the story will end there.
