When I tell you I have had the best experiences here in the states than I ever did in foreign countries. I went to Arizona, Aspen Colorado, Colorado Springs, Hilton Head Island SC and Chicago. Stayed at three all-inclusives Just booked St. Thomas for my birthday yesterday.
@@KPbouj hey. In Colorado I stayed at Stonebridge Inn and Resort. In Arizona I stayed at McCormicks Ranch Scottsdale. There you can choose just the stay or all-inclusive. I did all-inclusive. There are about 7 different all-inclusives actually in Colorado.
@@myrahj1482 I put them in the reply to KP. Yes, alot of people didnt know this but think about it. Just as we go to other countries to vacation they come here also. All you have to do is put in all-inclusive resorts for the state you are planning to travel and see if they offer it. Alot of resorts along the coast and mountain areas.
Pro tip: If you DO go to Belize.....make sure you go in February. That is where you can go onto the salt flats and get the "water mirroring the sky" pictures. It is most prominent during that certain time....

My mom took me on a cruise to Cozamel, Grand Cayman and Jamaica to celebrate being cancer free. I loved the whole week and would go back to any of the places we visited! Next cruise in March we're going to the Mexican Rivera. Can't wait!

Except we went over Spring Break and there were more kids than I prefer but it wasn't overwhelming so I was fine. Our next cruise to the Mexican Rivera will be through Norwegian and not over Spring Break. 😀

Just to add. The Virgin Islands was owned by Denmark before they sold the islands to the United States. Our native language is English creole. We will find French, Spanish,Arab,Dutch,patwa, and English spoken amongst the locals.. very beautiful diverse place 🇻🇮🇻🇮🇻🇮
I’ve visited PR, rented an Airbnb in Isla Verde, rented a car and drove to El Yunque (about a 30 minute drive) for zip lining. It’s beautiful there. Key West is another great vacation spot, about a 30 minute flight from Miami. Be sure to bar hop on Duval Street if you’re there. Closed loop cruises are great, you literally get dressed and they take care of the rest! Colorado Springs has some of the most beautiful mountain views and hiking trails!!

I've learned a lot about these islands been to a few Maui, HI, St Thomas, St Croix, Nassau, Bahamas, Keys, Fla but Guam, Calif Southern beaches are next and one more time to Maui which I really enjoyed again.

I love St. John...it's so quaint and cute. It really gave me the "resort feel". St. Thomas was nice, but more hustle and bustle, so to speak. I can't wait to get back and visit St. Croix!!!
South Padre is pretty good, especially from June-Nov. Water can be very blue during that time frame. I avoid it during winter and early spring as it can get pretty chilly. I really like Padre and Florida for vibe and feel and some of the amenities of still being on the US mainland, like a real grocery store and general ease of travel.
Definitely would like to check out American Samoa. And will go back to Puerto Rico anytime, I love that place! Stayed in Boqueron and it was the best vacation I ever had
I've returned to 🇵🇷 Puerto Rico several times over and it is a fantastic place to visit. If PR is on your travel list , be sure to take the ATV tours through the El Yunke Rainforest. Its Breathtaking scenery and beautiful wildlife.
@@brandylashay6012 last time I went to Rio grande PR, I stayed at Wyndham Rio Grande Rio Mar golf & beach resort. It's a beautiful resort and not too expensive.. its 20 minutes from downtown Rio grande and sits beside the Elyunke rainforest. You can hear the tropical birds & nature from your balcony if u have a room facing the rainforest. There are rooms/suites also facing the ocean. I've been several times so I've stated in both suites. In my trips to San Juan PR, I stayed at Sonesta Royale, and Sheraton beach front resorts. both are nice, Sonesta Royale I liked better. 👍 the very 1st time I visited San Juan years ago, I stayed at Ritz Carlton ocean front resort, on a baecation...it was beautiful. If it's a vacation for a couple, go Ritz Carlton... however I do think they may be temporarily closed this year for renovations. There are tons out there. Trip advisor was how I found Sonesta Royale in San Juan and Wyndham golf resort in Rio grande. Both beautiful and affordable.

Totally agree. But there are many in our community who are prevented from obtaining a Passport for various reasons. Filling up and showing off those passport pages with stamps is definitely a flex.

This video shocked me with Amelia Island. I used to live on Amelia island close to American beach. The Fudge shop is the ice cream shop. The Pipi Longstocking home is on the far north end of the island. Much to see there. 30 mins ride from the airport. 45 mins from downtown Jacksonville depending on traffic and how you exit the island.

Vieques island is apart of Puerto Rico which is further controlled by the USA. In fact all of the places listed are technically the USA which is why you don’t need a passport
@@skeeskee9215 - It’s still the USA regardless of the tag. If Vieques Island was being invaded it would be the US Military showing up. The military which protects it owns it and enforces its own laws there.
They explained key west pretty good. Key west is a must go. The best time is in October when we have the Caribbean festival goombay. Actually the last two weeks of October is one of the best times to visit KeyWest.

Yes to San Juan, PR. I went there (alone) for a vacay 5 years ago and had a beautiful time. It was shortly after the hurricane of 2018 and so there was lots of rebuilding in progress. As for Key West, without a doubt its topography is gorgeous, but i felt more relaxed in San Juan.

And they didn't say how very expensive those Islands were. Comparing some of these US places I would be cheaper to go outside the US so get a passport....for the US will rip you off.
Puerto Rico is OUTRAGEOUS. So is USVI and Hawaii. They dont mention that the US/UK wealthy have made a lot of these places their part time homes, and poorly regulated import/exports makes products very expensive. Be prepared to pay $8 for a bag of Lays.
I love the list. However, a special Hidden Gem that was missed- Culebra PR..A lot of War History including tanks and also Flamengo Beach one of the most beautiful beaches in the World.

I would just like to say there is no flight from LA to Catalina Island. You can only arrive there by helicopter or boat from Long Beach.

Everyone should have a Passport! I have a Pass Card also. You can only use the Pass Card for Sea Travel not Air Travel.

Yes to San Juan, PR. I went there (alone) for a vacay 5 years ago and had a beautiful time. It was shortly after the hurricane of 2018 and so there was lots of rebuilding in progress. As for Key West, without a doubt its topography is gorgeous, but i felt more relaxed in San Juan.
I thought Vieques was strictly for military personnel only...the more you know

I've heard of them but didn't know where they lived.
Here on the coast of Georgia (near St Mary's Island) there is Cumberland Island known for it's wild horses. Beautiful sight seeing them roaming!

@@mzkeia2u No it's not expensive to travel here. I'm originally from Brunswick Georgia. And it would take us about 45-mins to an hour to get here by car. Located in the north eastern part of Florida
Nice list. Florida = PASS. South Padre is cool but doesn’t compare to Caribbean destinations. Hawaii is the best…especially Maui.

And they didn't say how very expensive those Islands were. Comparing some of these US places I would be cheaper to go outside the US so get a passport....for the US will rip you off.
Puerto Rico is OUTRAGEOUS. So is USVI and Hawaii. They dont mention that the US/UK wealthy have made a lot of these places their part time homes, and poorly regulated import/exports makes products very expensive. Be prepared to pay $8 for a bag of Lays.

Vieques is a beautiful Island off the main coast of Puerto Rico. Everything is much cheaper too! Lots of wild horses and chickens. Very relaxing!
