I have the same lights in my twilight zone pops . The ones I have plug directly into the wedge style sockets . So I’m not sure if they tried to retrofit the wrong style lights into the pops on your game or what . I hate when people do things to a game , like direct wiring . It makes it a huge pain for people like us who have to service them . Nice video ! Been watching you for a few months now . I don’t like the black rubber either , I went with the blue titan on everything. Much better feel .

Thanks for the comments. I'm thinking I may go with clear...it usually brightens the playfield a little, and TZ's can be a little on the dark side.

This is an awesome video. I’m teaching myself pin repair. I have been diagnosing some light problems on an early SS and have been trying to learn how to deterministically identify which components are bad. Nice to see your techniques for root cause - and seeing how components can test good on board and still be bad (something I’m experiencing) Also seeing you read the schematic and solder techniques are super useful- all things I’m learning on my own. One Q - what is that chip tester / what does it do / how does it work?
