1• SPEAK THE TRUTH - STOP TRYING TO PLEASE EVERYONE
2• SPEND TIME WITH RIGHTEOUS COMPANY - STOP HANGING AROUND WITH THE WRONG CROWD
3• SEEK THE SWEETNESS OF THE AKHIRA - FOCUS - STOP CHASING AFTER THE PLEASURES OF THIS WORLD
Alhamdulillah... we greatly appreciate this much needed reminder Ustadh. A special dua in honor of this beautiful message:Laa ilaaha ill-allaahu, waḥdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, wa huwa ‛alaa kulli shay’in qadeer
“None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and all praise and He is over all things omnipotent.”
Oh Allah, our Creator, Al Jabr, Al Qudus, Al Qawy... to You belong the best and most beautiful names. You alone we worship and trust, and to You alone we call out to and return ya Al'Hai Al'Qayum... Blessings and salutations on our noble Mursaleen, their families and their companions - may our entire Ummah be true followers of Your Religion and of Your chosen leaders and enjoy the intercession of Rasul'ul Allah s.a.w.
La hawla walla quwata ila bilah - Pour in our hearts the neverending concern and objective of pleasing You, Al'Wadud and envelope us in Your Love in the ways that befit Your Majesty. Make taqwa be the center of our existence and provide us with all that we need to pass our tests delightfuly. Please shelter us from all that displeases You and make The Straight Path our home and our way of life while we are here. Increase us in knowledge and steer us clear from that which does not benefit us. Ya Al'Mu'izz, inject in us the ability to recognize the truth and to distinguish it from falsehood... allow us to see what is true and grant us the ability to accept it as the truth and endear it to us by making what is false appear to us as false indeed- keep it away from us and us from it, to You alone we supplicate for guidance and plead.
Oh Allah Jella Jalaluhu, You know everyone's needs best and You are the best of planners, so fulfill them lovingly and make us content and grateful with what You decree. Provide us with deep understanding, free us from ignorance and debt and cleanse our sustenance by supplying us with the highest of halal opportunities in all their forms. Do not deprive us from fulfilling all 5 Pillars during our life time nor from visiting Your Holy Lands, and gift us with the priviledge of enjoying the end of our days in the one You choose for us.
Oh Allah Azzawajjal free Your creation from all forms of suffering, lead us into tawba and the wisdom of asking for forgiveness and the nobility of forgiving. Oh Al Aziz, return Your Masjids to Your rightful servants, and protect our ulamah by keeping their teachings alive and having their students apply what Your Quran and our Nabi's Sunnah have established, for us and all future generations.
Oh Al Mutakabbir, elevate our status and purify our past, our present and our future... and grant us victory on that Day. We beg You Allah Ghafur AlRaheem for forgiveness for our sins... wipe our accounts clean and fill them with abundant mandalas of good deeds to recieve our book on our right hand and allow us to be from among Your pious allies... a Sabiqun, a Sabiqun. Oh Allah we seek refuge in Your perfect words from every fitnah, from the simplest to the most dangerous... including from the trials of the Dajjal and the end of times... and every form of evil You have created... every devil, every vermin, every illness, from misguidance and ingratitude, and protect our Ummah from Shaytaan and his agenda against humanity at large. Allahuakbar!
La ilaha illa enta' Subhana! Please purify, strengthen and unite the Muslim Family in ways that exceed our expectations and envelope our hearts and souls. Put Barakah in everything we receive from You and in everything we do. Grant us the strength and the wisdom you deem fit to endure what we may find difficult and beautify the trials You have set for us Rabbi in order to tackle each of them with love and sincerity. Save us from the punishment of the grave and make Jahanam Haram for us at all times. Grant us a blessed death upon being submitted to You, after uttering the most sincere 'la ilaha il Allah' , and aid us in answering the 3 questions that define our destiny. Unite us with those whom You love most upon the resurection and enter us into every level of Jannah until we are able to finally enjoy Al Firdeous, and be honored by your Glorious company forever and ever...
    Amin, amin ya Rabbi Alameen

There are two words which are gentle on the tongue, heavy on the scales, and beloved to ar-Rahmaan: -
    سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ
Subhana allaahi wa bihamdihi, Subhana allaahil atheem
‘Far is Allah from imperfection and praise is for Him, Far is Allah The Sublime from imperfection.

Masha Allah, what an eye-opening lecture! Truly, this really opened my eyes on my actions. I have a friend whom I've known for 17 years since school. I recently joined a company where I met him again. We talk about our other friends, cracking jokes about them and I would laugh so hard that my belly would ache, sometimes unable to breathe.
However, at the back of my head, I know that it is wrong to do such things. Somehow, I overlook the warnings of Islam and I indulge myself in the fun. Now, we are talking behind the back of the people we work with and my friend would say the most horrible things behind them and I would laugh. My friend justifies his actions by saying we are just having fun, we won't hurt them by saying that to their faces.
After listening to this lecture, I feel like I have gotten the courage necessary to advise my friend that we shouldn't make fun of others. It's very hard as the Ustadh mentioned, especially if you know your friends for so long and all you've been doing with them is making fun of people. I know that tomorrow when we'll return home from work, he will talk behind my Muslim colleagues and then and there, I'll tell him that we should stop doing such things.
Islam is what differentiates us from the Kuffars. While they will continue to indulge themselves in such talks, we Muslims, we listen to our superior morality Allah has gifted us with and we are able to rectify ourselves.
"Indeed, We created humans in the best form. But We will reduce them to the lowest of the low ˹in Hell˺, except those who believe and do good-they will have a never-ending reward. Now, what makes you deny the ˹final˺ Judgment? Is Allah not the most just of all judges?" - Surah At-Tin.

So i actually wanted to ask you can you give me the name of the video that you shared with your little brother about these famous people saying they are unhappy because i can't find it myself. I also want to show it to my little brother because he doesn't really believe me when I say to him that their lives are just played for the camera to show that they are happy but in reality they are not. Maybe he will believe it when he hears it himself saying how they really feel. I hope you will read my comment in shaa allah. May Allah swt bless you and your family with Jannatal firdous and may he reward you for the words you share with the ummah for his sake. Ameen

I have tried to learn how to pray. Every time I try I just sit there and cry like a baby because I feel so humble and connected to Allah. I cannot even seem to lift my head while sitting on the prayer mat. This prevents my concentration and I ultimately fail to learn the prayer properly. Please tell me what this means? Does this mean I am such a huge sinner which is why I am being kept from learning. I have had a sihr done which I know was cured with Allah‘s will via ruqyah. I do feel overall I am a very good human who is aware of sins and tries to prevent them but something is keeping me from learning how to pray because I always cry….my heart bursts with love of Allah and I am aware of Allah every step of my life. But then again how can I say I love Allah if I do not obey Allah‘s command of prayer?

    • @binttahmet

Do not let crying prevent you from prayer… let it lead you to it. When you cry in prayer it is rewarded Subhan’Allah. It’s beautiful you have such a good connection, so stay with your head bowed down as long as you need. Cry as long as you need to. may Allah keep you steadfast

Hello, it has been 8 days since you asked the question, but i hope my answer will motivate you a little bit.
When sitting in front of the prayer mat getting ready to pray, think of it as an obligation first. Do the obligation and then ponder over it .
Imagine being hungry and when you have a plate of food in front of you, you end up crying and not eating. The fact is that you will still be hungry.
Likewise, the soul is hungry for prayer and containtment.
My advice to you is, to not let the Satan whisper to you and make you feel ao guilty that you cannot pray.
If you feel guilty and cannot pray then you should know for sure that this is from the Shaitan who tricks you. Know that Allah the exalted wants you to return to him more than anything else.
In a hadith the prophet mentions a man who traveled through the desert with his camel which carries his things and his water. Then the camel gets lost when he fell asleep and he started looking all over for it but could not find it. Then, he found a tree and rested under its shadow and slept. When he woke up, his camel was standing in front of him. He became so overjoyed that he said, oh ya Allah you are my slave and i am your lord (he confused the words out of his immense joy)! Allah is even happier than this man when his slave returns to him.

Hey brother. Can you start a new series on balancing Dunya & Aakhira, because the muslimeen at behind the world in technological advancements and secular knowledge in general, and besides the disunity and all time low eemaan (or even kufr in some cases) it's part of what's made all the Muslim countries the weakest in the world.
