I usually don’t even put descriptions on my video or at least not as of late, but I felt the need to explain myself.
This song is meaningful to me.
I try my hardest to have fun while also maintaining respect for the family & the people I represent.
Sometimes I forget people are watching because when you go through your problems at the end of the day all you have is you.
The voice clip you hear in the beginning is my mother. She can tell you herself, since I was a young kid rapping my subject matter has been pretty much the same. My family hasn’t always supported me, but it’s cool to see what they have to say to me evolve into love. At first I was told I really should stop completely & that this was a pipe dream, not by mom but just family in general.
No one really approved of what I was doing ever in my family if it wasn’t what they saw for me, but now things are starting to make more & more sense.
Slowly but surely I’m gaining the support of my family. Not really any I could see, but my parents have really grown to support me since my music has started taking me places.
I know it’s scary watching someone you love go into uncharted territory. I know it hurts watching someone you love hurt themselves. I know some of these things I say are hard to hear which is why I feel like most people try not to hear me out, & box me in. but this is always why I feel the need to say them because if not me then who else?
I’ll give you the box since you couldn’t figure out which one.

Fuck yeah dude. If you’ve been a heavy user, you might experience some flare ups of PAWS (post acute withdrawal syndrome) but after that third month or so, damn near each week is better than the last (overall that is, life can still fuck w you of course) - keep it up.
It didn’t take til like month 6-8 for me bc I was deep into the h/fent/meth hole after 20 years of use, but now I’m almost two years clean and couldn’t imagine going back. Just took that first step then a lot of persistence.
