I'm very interested to see this game come out in the not too distant future. Might I suggest using a different word than "listening" in the opening textboxes? It would sound more natural to use "responding" or "receiving" in that context for the English language.

The intro is awesome but I must agree with some of the criticism (and this is meant in a constructive way). Design is a bit boring, the text needs proof-reading and the frame rate is jerky. Has much potential but needs work.
the weapon system is pretty kool and nice that you can't just hold down the button for continuous rapid fire with the main shot because holding down will charge a mega blast but yet you can hold down button for rapid fire for special weapon add-ons.
it would be even better that while holding down the button for a mega blast, the special weapon add-ons rapid fire charge begins to run low causing shots fired to slower until releasing the button for the mega blast immediately charging up full speed rapid fire shots. so charging a mega blast too long could be a disadvantage as charging it begins showing down the other special weapons.
nice that you can rotate your special weapons direction.
nice that holding down thrust button causes thrust instead of pressing to select different thrust speeds.
always good to have a Hard setting of difficulty.
the game needs incoming ships bullets that move towards your ship to dodge.
i noticed some long delay bug when moving the ship around at times, maybe just my emulation, idk. also the guys red shot and gun shot special weapons glitch out. so a couple bugs need worked out but so far this is a very nice demo. this has potential to be an awesome game. the title of this game is way kool too
