Welcome back to some nice shots of 24th Scale World's Crown Jewel
Ashok Leyland Captain 3136 - Deep Mining Tipper
Vehicle Spec:
Engine: N-series, Turbocharged Intercooled, BS-III with CRS fuel injection equipment
Power: 360 HP @ 2500 rpm
Torque: 800 Nm @ 1400-1900 rpm
Clutch: 380mm dia single plate dry type with clutch booster and ceramic disc
Transmission: 9 speed direct drive First gear ratio - 8.83:1 Crawler gear ratio - 12.73:1
Prelude:
Ever since i first saw this scale model in the Design Studio of Ashok Leyland, i wanted to get one for myself. What came as a surprise was that, the model was in 1:24 scale which is my Primary scale (would have got it even if its not 1/24 scale)
The amount of detailing it has is awesome and i am happy to have got one when it was available. I will let the video do the talking. Do look at the workinf Suspension system and Steering system of the Truck when in motion.
