This is spectacular, one of the most cinematic brickfilms I've ever seen. You've come so far since Lake Town Chase, and that was an already great film, too!
Thank you for the feedback! The Lake Town Chase was a turning point for my videos because it was the last one I made with a webcam. Since then I've been putting more effort in lighting, framing, set design... In this case I wanted to give the viewer a sense of seeing something classic, playing with colors and music.
I've seen this video many times, but this time it really struck me how brilliant it is. You sir, know how to tell an engaging story. What's more impressive is that it's all visual. Don't even get me started on your animation. It's inspiring. Every little detail in every shot. It really makes me want to try harder and reminds me that if done well, this craft can be beautiful. Also, I love your "out of socket"-movements, I have just started doing those too in my animations and I know how damn hard they are to do :D Also, I loved how you saw the murder at the end of this brickfilm in "Assassin's Lego Begins Again", I went back to see if that was the same murder, and when I discovered that I was right I loved it even more :D
After rewatching this I’ve realised something. At 2:40 when the killer escapes, he turns his head and you can see that he has a beard. However, the man that the protagonist eventually kills does not have a beard and could potentially be a lookalike, meaning that the wrong person has been killed!!
Yes, I don't know when it'll be out, but this video is the introduction of a character that will appear in the Assassin's Lego series. I'm currently busy with other project and some personal stuff but it's something that I hope to restart in the future.

You really deserve so much more attention than you've gotten, the lighting and restrained exaggeration in the animation are so on point. You almost forget that they're showing at most two facial expressions. Amazing work.
