이번 사건을 보면서 가장 마음이 착잡했던 부분은 가부장적이고 폭력적인 한국 가정을 또 한 번 눈으로 확인할 수 있었다는 점이다. 편견과 아집, 이기심으로 가득 찬 냉혈한 사람들... 겉으로 저렇게 인자한 척 하면서 수년간 지 새끼들 패고 있었다니... 폭력은 어떤 형태로든 정당화 될 수 없는데 말이죠.
저도 한국가정이라 많이 맞고 자랐는데 성인이된 지금까지도 정말 안좋은 영향이 미쳐요...정말 바뀌어야 되는 사회모습입니다.. 물론 지금 많이 개선되긴 했지만요..

I think he was trying to not force the relationship with his grandchildren and being respectful of the babies boundaries. Some babies get scared when someone they are not familiar with holds them. He might have wanted them to warm up to him.

I mean you can’t tell just from seeing this video that that’s how they were. But, I am assuming Cerose had already known Gohan didn’t have the best upbringing with his parents. So trying to build up that relationship is I think logical since Gohan still did contact his family. They knew what they were doing when bringing his family to the US to visit. I believe many abused kids try to build that bond with their abusive parents back again because they are their parents/family. Maybe they yearn a normal life because they never did have one.
(I’m speaking from my own experiences and what I know. So this might not make sense to many. But, I do know that most of the time abusive parents won’t change. Or something will always linger. Thankfully, mine really did change. Now it feels like the past never happened but of course yearning for the past to have been better is still there. Because how could they do that to children. It happened but yeah let’s go get therapy.)
@@mynty_me I agree. I also had abusive parents. They never changed their ways but I learned that I should never be like them. Gohan used his abuse to then subject his kids and wife to the same treatment because he’s miserable and that’s sad. I had way more respect for him before all this, even when I thought he was an oddball because I’m kinda an oddball myself.

I cried so much it makes me so happy to see the grandparents happy . My Thai parents were so happy to see my mixed daughter and I thought they weren’t going to be as close to her or have that kind of relationship with her because of what they put me through while I was pregnant and them not approving my relationship with my child’s father . I love these videos it gives me hope that the Asian community especially the older generation will change their ways when it comes to racism & discrimination . Cevonne looks so much like my daughter and I think that’s why I got so emotional .

The brother looks so uncomfortable in all this videos, the dad didn’t seem to wanna get close to the kids much, he just kept grabbing Cevonnes’ leg kinda like when someone whose never seen kinky hair will touch ur hair , the grandmother seems to be the one really trying despite whatever she might be feeling inside, her disowning the kids I feel isn’t because she hates them but she seems more like the type of mother who would always protect and accept their child no matter what wrong they did, considering the abuse her and her kids suffered by the fathers hand it’s understandable how much love she has for them n how she blindly takes their side, I’m not defending her for her action they r wrong in all counts but this is just what I think about their actions on this situation
