I think most Turkish fans will acknowledge that he's saying the truth. But I suppose that the dream is that the Turkish league will be the epitome of football soon.
I think he also knows that he wouldnt come to the tukish super league and dominate. Im sure he would get 7-8 goals and the same amount of assists but definitely would not dominate and people would quickly turn on him bc he would probably be making 8-10million a year and be the highest paid player. Its not an easy league.. its rough.. and the refs call it that way.
As a Turk living in holland Turkish football is not that good could always be better but still love the fans and atmosphere and greatness in Europa.

Well we have seen how he plays on the national team. He doesnt make some incredible contribution and all the turks that tune in to checkout our superstar turk have been disappointed literally every time he has played for his “country”. At least hes one of the turks who chose to play for turkey so i cant hate. But unless hes playing for his club team he’s overrated

Turkey is an Asian+European+Middle eastern country. It's surprising to see Turks being angry at this despite the fact it's very well documented their ancient ancestors belonged to Central Asia. Regardless, most of the world considers Turkey to be in the middle east so being angry about this only tells us your insecurity.

The winning, the size of fanbase, social media interactions, fan pages, reaction channels, and it dominates headlines everyday in turkey and even in europe when they were in the champions league. Icardi and other players from foreign countries have also brought in entirely new fans from south america… even africa. Thats why our games are broadcast in so many countries with 10+ different language commentators.
