Ooh, almost forgot to check it out. Looks like a lot of stuff I may vaguely remember rather than having been listening to actively at the time, but should be fun. :)
Six hours to edit a video? Wow that shows how special you think we are - probably as special as we think you are. With love and apreciation from the UK.
Broadcast 'Rule of Thumb' - It takes 1 hour to edit 1 minute of output video. Sarah's got 10 minutes worth in a six hour edit session,. So, yeah, effcient!
Your statement about modifying a car past a certain point is spot on. Been there, done that, have the trophy. Going too far often creates reliability issues and a cascade of downstream issues. Big power? Broken driveline parts, etc. Keep up the great work.
Sarah, your philosophy about your car is also how I feel. I like my cars because I enjoy driving them and how they look. I don't buy stuff to impress people, because that is pointless. My cars aren't fast, or awesome, but I like them, and they're fun. I enjoy them, and don't care whom else does, or doesn't.
Attention to detail - check. Explanation and exposition - check Random thoughts being verbalised - double check Thanks Sarah, love the work you put into this.
Thank you Sarah! Such an important statement “modifying a car beyond a certain threshold can ruin the car” and I would add your expected experience with said car.

You made the right choice on the tvis and for the right reason too. 👍 Losing all that torque at the low end defeats the purpose of using a small light turbo with a fast spin up in the first place.
The benefits of keeping the system which provides a short and long intake induction path is, in my opinion, worth dealing with keeping the butterflies working. Go Sara.
Most of the runoff from the front clip would be coming from the center of the car, so it seems correct that they are offset in that way. Kudos for respecting the engineering and explaining it!
I went back to the day where you first purchased MR DOS, the quality of your video content has improved a lot. I think your attention to detail has improved also.

I know next to nothing about cars but your content is compelling. Followed the deliberations on T-VIS and actually cracked a huge smile when you said you were keeping it because it was clear from the very start that your heart was telling you not to delete
I loved the intake sound T-VIS made on my old AW11. I think you made the right call keeping it. I've seen some dyno curves with and without it, and the stock setup loses a pronounced bit of low end without it.
Nice work!! I'm envious of you cleaning the engine compartment to the nth degree!! I don't have that patience anymore. I agree with you about reaching a point where mods are ruining the car. We're working on a restomod 1986 SVO, making everything easily-reversible. We replaced the intercooler core with something more-efficient, but it's otherwise in the same housing. Could have gone front-mount, but no.....
the "spat" is to manage tire wake and it's off-set so it's functional throughout the range of steering motion. in all honesty under normal driving conditions you won't notice if it's present or not, but I appreciate the attention to detail. my areo-nerd-ADHD is satisfied.
A more powerful car isn't necessarily a good car, as you quite rightly say, you can ruin a great production model. So what you've done is made the production car more efficient without too much changing. Great update.... Cant wait to see you work on the other project though. ❤❤
