I just added a courser to bring my total to 7 T8 Courser's, i just added one during the horse event. I think this event is going to increase my T8's from 14 to some where in the low 20's. When a horse is training is a skill addition more likely to happen if one of the frequent skills such as forechop is left open? If thats true the horse will get more total skills. if not this method only seems let you know early if you want to keep investing skill change coupons in this horse. (previously I mostly bought skill change coupons after i breed the horse.) I have swapped out caution, forechop and hind kick as you suggest.

I think it has hid kick, fore chop and caution at level 11...should I bother using coupons to try and get S: Sideways and hope for the other courser skills or is it unlikely it will learn the 6 skills it needs in the next 19 levels?
hard to say without more specifics. If the horse is level 12..it is great, but if it's 25-30 and you still need a lot more skills for courser than you might be in a bind when you get to the end and need to coupon change the last skill or two. if you don't have all of the crappy skills, you will just keep learning them when you try for a courser skill in the end.

Now at lvl 27 forechop hasnt been learn same as the last 2 other skiill that i need SSideway and InstantAccel. I feel like if i change Hindkick and Caution it will be a big mistake. Now Im hoping it to learn Forechop again 😂 or other courser skills. This is making me nervous. What should i do?

this methot is made for leveling, a level 30 cant level lmao. if u mean use skill changes to get to courser, just make sure u do it the other way around. keep all the shit skills and change out mediocre ones like S hind kick to get the hard ones.
If your horse is level 30 , it has all the skills it will ever get ( i dont remember if premium appearance change coupon can give skill though i think it can) but you can still swap out those you dont like.
Just pointing out that the fore chop method does not guarantee you will learn lots of skills. You can follow the method from 1-30 and still come out with a bad horse.

This method doesn't make sense. There are 2 dice rolls. 1. You have a dice roll that the horse will learn a skill. 2. You have a dice roll (out of 100%) on which skill the horse will learn. The chance of #2 has no bearing on #3. For instance, say you have three types of apples, and these apples are being shot out from an apple launcher. If I hold out my hand, there is a 20% chance I catch an apple from the apple launcher. I have 4 red apples in my basket already. As for apples I can catch, there are 6 red apples, 2 green apples, and 2 yellow apples. So there is a 60% chance the apple I catch will be red, a 20% chance the apple will be green, and a 20% chance the apple will be yellow. If I swap all my 4 red apples in my basket for the 2 green apples and the 2 yellow apples in apple launcher, I now have a 100% chance to catch a red apple... but I still only have a 20% to catch an apple at all. Catching an apple is paralleled to catching a skill, and the color of the apple caught is comparable to the type of skill. The type of skill learned is based on some percentage out of 100%, and these percent chances redistribute with each other. How do I know this? Because, (1) you see that distribution change when you use a skill coupon, and (2) it is impossible to learn two skills at once. Everything about the forechop method is anecdotal. Someone idiot went around saying that this method will increase your likelihood of learning a skill. The fact is that it DECREASES the chance of learning a valuable skill from your coupon. Coupons are best used when your maximum amount of skills are learned. Because the forechop method does not change how many skills you learned as displayed above, you are merely using coupons when you don't yet have all your skills learned, which decreases your chance of learning those valuable skills. In short, don't use the forechop method. This whole video is leading new players astray.

get another horse?
Breeding/exchanging it seems to give better chance to acquire a courser horse without using money.
Does it have to be fore chop, or could you choose caution instead?

asszming u swap out fore chop, is the system then not intended to learn fore chop again even when u swapped it out? (due to common skill)
