  • Detailed Hiking Guide, Trail Map and Description of Grizzly, Divide and Talus Lake Trail:

Day 2 of our trip on the Grizzly, Divide and Talus Lake Trail in Tombstone Territorial Park, Yukon gifted us with some serious rainfall. Our poor old sponge of a tent couldn't handle the moisture.
All of our gear was soaked but we wanted to finish the trail. We decided it was best to jam the rest of our hike into one day. We hiked to Divide Lake, Talus Lake and back to Grizzly lake to pack up and hike out to the truck. Time was not an issue thanks to the Yukon sunlight.
Some would call this a suffer fest... But, we loved every minute of the chaos.
    Can't beat it!

Absolutely loved this! i spent 7 nights in the Tombstone range. And man, I can still feel that brutal wind and rain while traveling between lakes lol.

Such wild weather. So cool you spent 7 nights in there. What a marvellous area. Already scheming to go back.

You guys are monsters. I'm just hoping to make it from the trailhead to Grizzly Lake...and even that much is probably going to kill me. If I'm not dead at that point, my next night is in Talus. I can't imagine hiking Grizzly to Talus and then Talus out. Crazy! So sorry about your tent situation, but thank you for posting this so I know what to expect in 5 weeks!
