Wow!!!! now I’m even more motivated to type up my book print it and definitely bind it this way and start selling at local farmers market ..on the streets ..on public transportation wherever 😊. before all of this technology became the go to for fancy print on demand or high cost printing shops, There was and still a cheap cost effective old skool way and it works just as well if not better KNOWLEDGE IS INDEED POWER❤️✊🏿Thank you for sharing this🥰
This is the easiest way of book binding especially for thicker book. I make my own diary and notebooks exactly like this, put some fancy duct tape over the spine instead of naked, decorate the cover as you like. No more buying expensive fancy notebooks.
thank you so much! I will try this for a coloring book. I didn't want to ruin the double page drawings with a spiral/wire-o binding because it would look too ugly. I'll use this glue method after I finish coloring all the pages, since I don't know if this book will handle a 180 degree opening.
I gave this method a shot and it worked perfectly. The binding is a lot stronger than I thought it would be. Those clips he's using, coincidently, are called binder clips!
Hi, it takes around 2 hours for each application. I don't have any idea about favicol; however, there is some glue for woods in Indian subcontinents that may work as well. You can give it a try! I am not responsible!
This is not fevicol. You can see the name here. There are some guys who used fevicol successfully, please ask them. However, glue that are suitable for wood (the white type) should work (not very sure!).

Never use a glue gun! it will spoil your book.
