- In my latest video I’ll take you to the abandoned Metropolitan Psychiatric Hospital outside Boston Massachusetts. Opened in 1927, this hospital treated New England’s mentally ill for nearly a century before it was shuttered. It was at one time the largest and most modern facility of its type in Massachusetts...

Thank you for watching and please subscribe for more adventures to come :)
My mom and dad use to work at Danvers State Hospital, my dad retired from there in 1984
Very interesting, small world. Thanks so much for watching!
My mum used to work for Waltham Fernald State school!!! She retired sumtime in the 90s
Very interesting, small world! I wish I could’ve gotten in to see it. Thank you for watching!
I’ve been in there before, and talked to residents around the area. They’ve said they have no issue with people going in that are just trying to explore the place. The only problems they have is when people are going in to vandalize the place
Good to know! Thanks so much for watching! I’d appreciate it if you considered subscribing!
“Feeble minded” how degrading- thank God we’ve come far enough to at least not have names like this anymore! Society still needs to treat people with disabilities with more respect and compassion than they do!!! Just starting the video, and looking forward to seeing it. Just found your channel and subscribed- I love anything about New England.
Thanks so much for watching and subscribing! It’s greatly appreciated and I’m really glad you’re enjoying my videos!
My best friend went to the Belchertown state School. Lots of bad memories there he told me.😥
Thanks for sharing, sounds like there was definitely some dark history there. Thanks for watching!
Theres an old graveyard there too, in back of the hill below the water tower.
Very interesting, I’ll have to go back. Thanks so much for watching!

We’ll see! Thanks for watching Smeagol!
We pronounce it Fer-nald. I worked with many people who lived there.
