I Tried Drop Servicing & Here's The TRUTH...

  • I'm surprised no one's called this out yet. I've been doing drop servicing for a while now and here's the honest truth behind the "new" business model you need to hear. Drop servicing as they say is apparently similar to Shopify dropshipping, except instead of selling Aliexpress products you sell Fiverr and outsourced services. I go over the business model of drop servicing and how it went for me, how it compares to SMMA and the dropshipping and ecommerce space.

Totally agree with the constant "shiny object syndrome". that people are experiencing all the time. It almost like every few months there is a "new" business model, and then people get distracted from what they are working on. If people could just stick with one thing instead of jumping from one opportunity to another, chances are that they would've reached their goals already.

My problem with this type of business is post sales service.
If the service didn't meet the client's expectations or if it broke down halfway, it then becomes my headache and not the contractor's.
A healthy ratio of inhouse and outsource job with a keen eye for risky deals helps a lot.

I've been doing the "marketing agency" thing for a few months. What I've seen is that what is really difficult is YOU being in the position of controling everything. We know that we are delegating the operacional stuff like running social media ads but what I found most profitable is delegating the sales TOO. Creating jorneys for my emplyees like a to do list for each part of the business. "If you do that, the chances that you sell are higher." When some of those hunters close a client, I pay a 25% comission (from the liquid earnings, not from the revenue). The idea is to have selles doing the work for me. As times passes, I put a CEO on my place and let him deal with all that and I can bacome a owner outside the busniess just getting money.

There is money online but don't ever think you will just start seeing results immediately, you will have to stick with it from start to finish. Choose one and do not pursue any other shiny object. It's fun

Hello Andrew !! I am just starting. I have just started Affiliate Marketing and am going to do Dropshipping & Drop Servicing (not only FB ads, but making Apps, Web Design etc.). I have now learnt (and still learning) to put a Filter on all the tall claims being put out. BUT everyone has some takeaway. It could be a reference. It could be a site name. A 30 minute video could have just a small list to take away. Anyway. Thanks a TON

Hi ethan, i'm running my own tourism services. I do notice, this marketing tools already used long time ago. At first, I were attracted to drop servicing like blue print. At the end, i summarize it just same method applied, it's to risky for newbies like me. Can you guide me?

You make good points, however agencies of any kind, even regular employment agencies, do make a lot of money (i worked under them) however they are teams of people, there is lots of paperwork, they still make money while hired public is doing the hard work, the agency is a middleman between business and work that needs to be done, it's the best position to be in, an agency isn't responsible for the inner functions and technalities of the business, they just connect workers to the business and get the profits, between worker and business, the agency is required to do the least amount of work and still be profitable

let say we start drop-servicing with the skills that we are master in & we can get a good team, then is it a viable business model with growth?

So true. Drop servicing is just a "new term" of the existing business model. But for a lot of people like me, we just didn't realize that we can be an agency without being an expert in that specific industry. I'm going to try a lot of make money online tactics and build 6-7 income streams and I'm definitely going to try this drop servicing! Thank you for sharing your honest opinion!
