    You're one of the few youtubers who first thing in every video tells people to turn on the subtitles so that they would not repeat mistakes, instead of using this valuable first minutes to promote some dumb mobile game or useless online course. It shows that you care for what you do and for your viewers. Respect.

    Thanks to Wikipedia... A barback or runner, as they are commonly known in Europe, is a bartender's assistant. Bar-backs work in nightclubs, bars, restaurants and catering halls, and usually receive a portion of the bartender's tips. (I didn't know what they were either! lol)

    Am I the only one who gets a bit of a My Village vibe here? This is totally different in many ways, of course, but there seem to be some striking similarities.

      Thought the same thing, and it’s the only thing making me hesitate on this otherwise excellent looking game. My wife did not care for My Village so this I don’t think this would get played as much as I would like.

    You're also missing the schnapps on the monastery tile in between rounds, flip the black marker over for 2 schnapps, really helps get them fast but can only have 4 at the end of a round. And you forgot the reputation round as someone else mentioned which als gets you lots of schnapps, both are game changers.

      @@rahdowhen playing module 5, there's only one between round 1 and round 2. Basically you get the schnapps from the reputation track. Every bard💃🕺 that comes into play immediately move the reputation marker forward 1 step, as well as the lower of the Thaler 💰 and beer 🍻 production. It's easier to remove lower value customer than buying more tables and this has the added advantage of bringing your power cards 🎴🃏 into play faster.

    When playing with the reputation track, there is an extra step. Before you take your dice actions, you look at how many coins and how much beer you will earn, and move your white reputation cube the amount of the lower value. So your reputation moves more than just drawing Bards.

    Dear Rahdo, I have a question for you. Is there any restrictions on how many nobles we could recruit in one turn? For example if I have 22 beer 🍻 production plus 5 beer brought forward from previous round for a total of 27 beer, could I recruit 3 nobles with 18 beer and another noble for the remaining 9 beer?

    42:25...you flipped Jen's counter guests to their monastery side, but you can't do that. When you take a counter guest, you choose which side will be available when you seat them, and you can't change that, just like the entertainers.

      Sorry but you are incorrect... the face of those tiles are chosen when you use them, Pag.11 of the rules:
      "When you decide to use a Counter Guest, you must choose between the
      following two actions it offers (shown on either side of the Counter Guest"
      The ones that you have to choose a side and keep it on that side for the rest of the game are the ones from Module 2, the Entertainers.

    • @wongbing202
      @wongbing202 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PauloRenato23 you are correct, however from the playing experience I have with my friends in module 5, the bards become extremely powerful AND cheap. Whoever gets his/her hands on the majority of the bards gains a commanding advantage over other players. In one game I got 12 out of the 16 available bards, basically I (almost) went through the reputation track every turn. I gain a schnapps, a signature that I could place in any column, remove a guest/gain a second schnapps and last but not least a noble. And since I remove a guest every turn, it reduces my priority to buy more tables (nobles are so snobbish that they only occupies one table). So after that I basically focus on buying the breweries, and the situation soon became so lop sided that we agreed to have our house rule of restricting how many bard we could buy to one per turn. Try it on your friends and give them a surprise?
