This tutorial was simply as good as it could possibly be! You explained and demonstrated in an extremely clear, well paced, organized, and supremely easy-to-remember manner. Easy as 1, 2, 3. Not to mention the wonderful historic background of the game! Perfect!!
Thank you so much for this video. My father bought this game for me to play as a child, since I was a severe asthmatic. Was never able to get one ped in the middle of the board. I still have the set it's old and worn out and about 53 years old. After so many years I learnt the solution only today. (5/7/2022) thank you again. God bless you.
Absolutely excellent demonstration and so clearly explained! Slow, clear and precise. I followed step by step and will now try flying solo! Thank you 😊
clever solution! I'm a slow learner, solitaire looked hopeless to me, but your way, especially the jet plane and pilot ! makes it easy to remember!!! :)
Brilliant explanation, so clear and precise. I haven't played since I was a child and had forgotten the solution method, thank you for jogging my ageing memory! 😊
Great tutorial! Curious that you seem to be doing the moves as a left-handed player, moving clockwise around the board. I have always done it counter-clockwise as a right-handed person. Thanks for sharing!
I get the Jacquie Lawson Advent Calendars every year (find on her web site; makes great gifts). Within each year's new advent scene is always the "home" that contains all kinds of goodies to play. The marble solitaire is one of them. I play over and over, making myself crazy each year, figuring "I'll just give it one more try!" Finally, I decided to see if the solution was on the internet, so I Googled it, and up popped your lovely video. I guess it's technically cheating, if I even remember your method, but I can always watch video again. Thank you so much, Robert, and I'll check out your book. I'm an avid mystery/thriller fan! Cheers!
Thank you for your excellent teaching, in America we have an older game called Hi Q. Same concept , however one version requires the “red” peg to be left in the game and land in the center hole to solve the puzzle! I’ve not been able to solve peg solitaire using this concept!!! Perhaps you can?
Thank you very for you well explain ,but in fact I arrive at the same result, the last ball in the center, but I use a different path, so there are several solutions and we should have fun😉👍
Can someone solve this set up with the center marble still in place and the first square around it gone as the starting point? It called the Lecturer, if you have the game/app Peg Jump
