Andy Brook, I don't know whether the Finnish people you know are somehow selected (=boring), but I can tell the song won due to televote, it actually got a third of the votes. So even if you don't know Finns who liked No Rules, there were quite many of us.
'Got a third of the votes'? Of course it got with stupid 25/75 relation (20/80 even more? 🤣 ), which has no sense?? Juries are useless, unless it's min 30/70 relation!
The story comes from the Finnish epos Kalevala, written in 1800 century. The world is born from an egg, the singer is the bird, he has a bird jacket. He is loking for his pants, and then he is complete. Windows95 is not a singer, that's why he is not singing. He is a dj. We just don't care of qualifying or not, just go there to have some fun. ..looks like most of Europe can't have a little fun. The singer is a professional singer and a voice actor and a musician.
@@blobfish1112 yes it has. He was not suppose to do this live at all, only do the demo, but the demo with his vocal was sent to UMK. Hopefully they would add it.
It was not a comedy song that won! W95Man is a visual artist whose character (the t-shirt and ct down denim shorts) has been around many years. So the tableau was his creation story. NOT very original but it was funny and did connect to the lyrics
Here we hear the same thing again. Incorrectly chosen. We have heard the same thing since the parliamentary elections last year. The opposition is barking. Most of the performances were too depressing. However, the winner was full of joy,
Did no one listen to the words? Tells you that everyone can be different and should not care what others say. Unfortunately, the show is so good that you don't have time to follow the message.
Windows95man is the best of the worst. Let's be frank: the other songs sucked as well but their staging sucked even more. I'm proud of No Rules, proud of my country for sending it, and happy that we manage to thumb our noses at Sweden & the juries with it. Eurovision preparties and the televoters will love it, and that is what matters. We never win anyway with music WE LIKE, so what?
The best won🤩❤🎉

How many Finns he knows? 10? There over 5 million of us! 😅

UMK should have added 'feat. Henri Piispanen'. It has confused a lot of viewers that they didn't.
