Can We Get The Vanagon Back On The Road?! Bad Fuel Pump!!

Took a trip down a forest road off of Hwy 181 and wouldn't ya know, I ended up broke down with no cell service!
After going down the list I figured it needed a new fuel pump. Got it ordered and swapped out. It seems to be running fairly well let's hope it holds up for the next trip!
After shipping delays, trial and error, and holidays I'm ready to get back to a campsite before Christmas!
I hope this can help someone who's had the same issue!

I did the exact thing with my positive and negative wires too. Haha.

Nine times out of ten, it's the fuel filter..... Blow through the new one, then blow through the old one and that will tell you.....

I went ahead and replaced filter and pump! Then I’ve had a bucking problem and I replaced the ICM and temp 2 sensor and cleaned all the grounds. Hopefully it fixed for now! Lol

I was thinking I hope you know which one is + and - because they are poorly marked. 😂Get a better wire stripper in addition to that one for crimping (using the color codes)

Thanks! I will be back to posting videos this week. My dad bought a vanagon that needs everything! Someone had pulled the wiring out of it for a Subaru swap. We are putting it all back to Volkswagen!
