They both went through the same terrible situation, so even though there’s a lot of love in their relationship, there’s a lot of pain deep down as well. Since they both went through the same trauma I’d assume that although dean might not know exactly why pharm is crying he still understands and feels that same pain with him. he probably thinks its related to the fact that he has a panic disorder. ppl with panic disorders can trigger a panic attack that seems almost random and because Dean knows about this he doesn't question it and probs just assumes he accidentally triggered it with a memory. Also I feel like the reason Dean doesn't experience the same pain is because he(his past life) killed himself first while Pharm had to watch and then went on to do it as well.... idk if this makes sense, I'm terrible at explaining

They both went through the same terrible situation, so even though there’s a lot of love in their relationship, there’s a lot of pain deep down as well. Since they both went through the same trauma I’d assume that although dean might not know exactly why pharm is crying he still understands and feels that same pain with him. he probably thinks its related to the fact that he has a panic disorder. ppl with panic disorders can trigger a panic attack that seems almost random and because Dean knows about this he doesn't question it and probs just assumes he accidentally triggered it with a memory. Also I feel like the reason Dean doesn't experience the same pain is because he(his past life) killed himself first while Pharm had to watch and then went on to do it as well.... idk if this makes sense, I'm terrible at explaining
