- We continue our journey with IKS to the dark treacherous tunnels built into the side of the White Cliffs of Dover. Now boys and girls this was stupid, don't repeat.

Guys this was Awesome! A stunning find and so poignant when you see the names of the men who built it. With the collapsed roof areas it makes you realise just how terrifying that would be to work and sleep down there with the guns doing off and bombs raining down. Finally going to give IKS a follow too 😊 And thank you so much for filming this 👍
My late Grandfathers brother died somewhere by the opening of one of the tunnels at Dover during WW2. Harold Turner is his name. He and 2 other soldiers went to smoke by a opening, Harold was in the middle of the 3 and shrapnel hit him killing him instantly from the Germans shelling over the English channel.

The names on the wall reminded me of a story I friend told me about his grandfather that was and engineer that worked on the moon landing pod from the moon landing. Part of the pod had a gold foil wrap on part of it and they all pressed thier hand into it to place their hand and finger prints onto it. People used to take pride in their work and was proud to have people know that was what they built. Now most everything is mass produced with no pride. It was really cool that their names where on the wall and even better that you guys treated that with respect. Thanks guys really cool history over accross the pond.

That's odd as according to NASA scientists, that foil was so fragile and expensive to make that not even they could touch it.

Craziest thing I ever went into was the interior of a long curved highway overpass; it was very very hot, completely dark, and the sound of the cars speeding overhead made the whole thing seem like an actual version of hell. And in the back of my mind the entire time was that only one of the single entrance hatches at either end was unlocked. One would have died a horrible death in there if someone had come along and locked that hatch.
Come to Hastings!!! Check out the east hill caves! Some people recently did a video of the hobo cave that's easy to access, but no one has done one about the other caves! Guess they all can't find the entrances or puss out when they see all the cave spiders xD They're harmless though and actually quite beautiful when you look closely at them :) We have a few other great abandoned spots like the old nuns graveyard, sadly the old college has now been knocked down, but we've also got a great underground air-raid shelter complex :)
Too many collapsing sections for safety ..i admire your courage though and it is amazing to see what the RE 1941 could build.

The cross nailed to the wall is problaby a small memorial for a worker who died during construction.
Apart from the cave-in at the beginning, that wasn't too bad!

Family friend lived in dover for much of my youth, every summer we went, where mum and dad stayed in me my sister and yhe 3 kids went exploring, i loved it couldnt do it now though. Love the vids, I laugh so hard xx thanks xx

That " watch strap " is a whistle guard, it's a leather strap that attaches you whistle to a button.

Hello gents. How scary is it there? Let's put it this way. Mr Stead took a friend down there for a look, and when his mate, who is a Gurkha, by the way, saw that one lone piece of chalk holding the roof up, he said several words that Mr Stead had to bleep out. IKS Exploration - they managed to scare a Gurkha. Not easy, but IKS Exploration managed it. Enjoy the shelter. It won't be there much longer.

Sadly the army records graffiti seems bogus as I could not find any searches with these details.
Plus in the UK and army number is 8 digits, in the graffiti it had 7, which seems odd also.

The beach at the bottom of the cliff, on towards Folkestone, is a nudist beach... Some pretty weird stuff goes on, in the summer, in the tents that are pitched amongst the remains of the 'suicide cars' that went over the cliff before they blocked access...

Makes my bum clench when they're in somewhere that could collapse, with shorts on, trainers, and no safety gear. AND I hate when they're somewhere all mouldy or asbestosy without masks on. Watching that shit gives me the adrenaline rush I've been missing 😂
