I will soon...
Even if I don't win it's for a good cause baby
But can't miss the change even the slimmest chance of winning that gem 💎❤
Done, I can't be there in person but what a weapon. I think you had a different channel when I first saw it but memory goes with age and now I'm a member of the CRAFT club and can't be sure.
Josh if I win this bike I will use it for one year and then return it to you so you can use again and even raffle it off again.
I said the same but I want him to keep it I've been here from the start and know some of the memories it hold for him so of I win I'm just letting him keep it
I've grabbed a few.
Watching shadetree is like reading the old easyrider magazine. 😛🤟🇬🇧
This comment made my fuckin day. THANK YOU
Winner DON ATE the Rocket BACK to Josh please!
I have seriously said thats what I would do if I won several of the bikes I have entered for. Sadly, I have not had the opportunity yet 😂
Fully agree.
That was my plan
Another great video, i love to watch how much Cammie adapts to every situation, she loves to experience new things. Your a very lucky man to be spending time with 2 beautiful ladies!.
I have few complaints!
Donating the boats and bikes to Forgotten Angels is a good charitable Tax Deduction as well. It goes to a good cause, and it eliminates you having to try and sell them at a fair market price in these economic conditions.
Kind of a win-win.
I hope these things make Forgotten Angels a lot of money.
👌 you're a legend donating that rocket that you love.💯🖤
You got me thinking of moving to Florida. The Canadian dream appears to be dead on arrival. I'm thinking sunny Florida looks pretty damn good vs. the frozen wasteland I'm trapped in now.
Apart from the odd hurricane.
I moved to FL last year from NJ, at least 7% of the reason was watching Shadetree and other FL TH-cam channels of various niches. I have been everything but disappointed. If you think you might like Florida then you’ll actually enjoy it more than you can imagine..🫡
I remember the original rocket III color, all that went into the motor rebuild, the cigar factory house, little jess, Cammie pre-restomod, Waldo, Bobba and so many others. I miss the dirty shame and the old garage hangouts, Txxxxxh Cxxxk, and names i cannot recall. p.s. I'll see you when i win the raffle and come down to claim the Rocket!!
ALways good to watch the projects brother!
The rocket is done so well the paint scheme is great, the pipes are on point, and i think the drop down mirrors look awesome you did a great job on it🤙
Good day to you. I recommend you take some of the forgotten angels. To the unemployment office to apply for "Job Corp". They will receive job training in different job fields, housing, and food. Job Corp will pay them a small salary and put money in the bank for them so when they finish trying they will be up and running.
If I win the bike I wood give it back to shadetre 👍👍
Great job editing you can definitely tell you enjoy it
Glad to hear that they are still together.
I don’t know how long I’ve been watching but the first thing I watched had you and Waldo Trying to get the FXR running so he could go for a ride on what was his FXR .. I had just bought an FXR in a box and was looking for information on how to put it back together I’ve been a fan ever since 😊 thanks for all the great content 😊
Another interesting video ..... i didnt know until now that Thalassophobia was the name of the fear i have..... i cant go near deep water , cant stand it . happy to stay on the land . so its not just me .... comforting 😎
best and most important content available on youtube!
Highigan recommended your Chanel 💪😃👍 nice content bro ! I just subscribed
Neil is the man!! Thank for comin by!
10:29 to 10:49 shovelhead popping & sputtering = I was ALMOST ready to type "It ain't got no gas in it" & waiting for the que to a replay of your "out of gas coasting & rolling to a stop music."⛽ 🤣 > Did a bit of sand cast in public school in a class we used to call "shop" (official name = Industrial Arts) MANY decades ago & made them with wet or better described as damp sand...Recall something about after wet sand prep & letting them sit overnight (hopefully undisturbed) & pour the following day.... Class had those metal clamp casting boxes...Going on memory the trickiest part of process was keeping the pour channels from collapsing & NOT disturbing the sand while assembling the box halves ...Takes a bit of trial & error practice just to get a mold ready...NO expert at all...Just memories of making a few pieces of sand cast a LONG time ago. Then there's the method of lost wax casting ...Hope this helps...
The video is really good. Its occurred to me that I dont recall seeing you on Barf Party lately.
Never a dull moment with ole shadetree and the girls. I cant wait to be back on a bike , still freezing here in ohio! My Klr is thirsty for adventure haha
Dope video, that sunset shot was amazing.
Nice time with the ladies.
I'm sure others have said but just incase I think the sand needs oil in it. What type idk. And I think the frame needs to be bigger on the sides so the sand can support its self. I'm going off of when I did it in high-school lol. I'm happy Jess and Jason are still together and doing good. With all the divorce and break ups happening all the time it's good hearing people doing good. I must say it's fun watching Cammie freaking out but glad she got over her fear lol. I couldn't help it but when I first saw the coconut bra I thought of Monty pythons and the squire making hourse hoov sounds 🤣🤣. Good vid
Yep, haven’t done any metal casting since secondary school oooh fifty-odd year ago (!!!), but remember the sand not being bone-dry.
Omg. I love you guys. Why do I liv in Michigan. I need another friend, motorcycle, haircut, tattoo. I forgot what I was doin.
Yup the weather right now gives me the winter blues here in MI
Southern East coast is where it's at friend ❤
6:20-6:25 You can only appreciate success, if you experience failure first.
In a previous life in a galaxy far, far away, I was a core sand grinder in the steel foundry at Bethlehem Steel Corp, i.e. I mixed various sand and chemicals in two huge mixing machines that was used in the making of the forms in which steel was poured to make castings. Some of the castings we made were quite large, about the size of a small car. At that time, I was riding a 62' Panhead chopper that I built in my basement. Time frame was 1972-73.
Awesome crazy Cammie 👍
Hi from Brazil.
As always your videos are inspiring not influencing! Your videos make us dream of a better future as humans, and for us to realize that is not to late nor to expensive to be back on a bike, and start to live life again!!! And for that I Thank you Brother Biker, you for sure see and live life as it is, and have no nothing holding you to say the pure true about it. 👏👏👏
Plus the people that are around your circle of life are one of the most beautiful I Ever Seen.❤❤❤ You are one of the most beautiful people I ever seen( don't get me wrong, I'm old from 66 and I do respect others choices ). Anyways.
Is really remarkable of what you're doing for the Forgotten Angels. It is painfully to give away the something that was so long with you, but the gift you are giving, it for sure will make you for sure fell understanding the beautiful of meaning of helping others. You and Chey did much!!!
I am from Brazil, And I know about Forgotten Angels, cause of your and Chey channel.
Your message ls crossing continents!!
Much admiration and respect❤✌️
I can't believe Im watching this and enjoy it sober😮
I owned a few shovel heads, don’t leave home without wire, tape, and spare bolts 👍
Hi from Brazil again.
Josh, you did not change your core, you Reacted.
If life wil be generous, one day, I will get to be in a Bike in this Magical Place called Home, Created by both David and Sindy with the most awesomly & beautiful People Communly called as Bikers, not forgetting Jerry W. , Bert, and a lot of names who would not feel this for days, that make this Dream into a Real❣️❣️❣️ JUST THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXISTENCE ❤️✌️
I would just watch a TH-cam video on sand casting. It's amazing what I've learned on TH-cam
The attempts are better then not trying keep forging away
We do green sand vertical moulding machines that pump out 60 TONS and HOUR! Love the see the first steps.
Seeing you continue to ride in sunshine, and even go out on the water!... While here in Portland it's freezing and raining everyday... Makes me feel things I don't like feeling. Try not to rub it in so much will ya?
hahaha, if we make it down to Florida sometime from the PNW, we will look you up and go boating with you guys !!!
Can anyone tell me what happened to flipna is he ok thanks all
Living the fantasy I had in the 80s as I snuck a peak at my Dad's old biker rags!
Awesome! Bet the boat will get a lot of use and open a whole new hobby and interest or heck even future interest in a job for people.
I can’t stop staring at that dangling turning signal.
💯 That's sun drop❤️🔥 And the coconut shells
Josh !!!
WTF !
How about a flat piece of aluminum, make appropriate cuts and a couple 90 degree bends possibly get that radius on that one side. Good luck with the forging lol .
Great video as always. The sand looked a bit dry, just add some old motor oil and it will work fine. Thanks for sharing :)
Cammi gotta get that back tatted up , she gotta blank canvas back there ready for some art work.
Shadetree, You need GREENSAND for casting...here is how to make it....
Buy or dig some clay.
Buy or dig sand.
Make clay into fine and clean the sand if it has any contaminant.
Mix 70% of sand and 30% of clay to make the green sand formula.
Finally, mix sand with clay.
Alternatively, you can make green sand by starting with 1KG of fine sand, then adding 120g of bentonite clay first.
Lost foam casting works without greensand. Great for one off small parts.
a little moisture helps a bunch, it's a must, if you can make a snowball there's enough moisture.
@ He was starting with that plastic piece. That is why I didn't say greensand. I will be doing some lost foam casting when I start my channel as it gets warmer her win Pa. My first project is building a 1928 Morgan/MG special Hillclimb racer. It will have a bunch of cast parts as well as a hand made adapter plate for the engine on the front to the 4 speed MG transmission. I am going ot change the channel name to machines and motors and start with sourcing the machines I need to build the wood over steel frame and cloth over wood finish.
So your sand needs oil. Water trapped in sand will make it explode. I would also advise carving a piece off your new plastic out of foam. Lost foam needs a bit more refining but you can maintain curves.
Mind you I learned casting in college then moved right into supervision for a very small time. So my casting knowledge is mostly scholarly.
I'm a foundry worker and make sand cores every day and sand castings. Truly is an art.
Oh man, I’ll try not to have my attempts be so embarrassing next time! Haha
@@shadetreesurgeon When I make my way down that way from the bitter great north, I can help you
You’re a lucky man you have so much fun
“it’s got about half a tank” 😂💀
If I enter to win that bike as much as I want it as cool as it is. I would give it back to Josh and make him promise to keep it
put some kind of oil in the sand to make the sand stick together better
I do remember Jesse grey and her Suzuki savage.
Now you can make all your fishing weights.
i used to live just up the street from you so i got to know the area you're in pretty well. if you want a pretty ride take lithia pinecrest to SR-39. just gorgeous. take SR-39 through plant city (also a good place to find a tasty taco) up to E Knights Griffin RD past the parks and into lakeland. lots of back florida roads. not the curviest but definitely gorgeous. takes you into lakeland and you can find your way home from there. get back on I-4, get off at McIntosh road, take the back roads back into Dover (moses lake road to n dover road) and you will have a gorgeous loop for a monologue.
I’d love to have that motorcycle. One of my dream bikes
11:33 that happened to me. I had a 85 rebel 250 i built from parts, and I mean right down to it having a 2005 engine in it, to which I mated the 85 top end using hope and 3 head gaskets. the bike did NOT have a clutch, and it was push-start only (meaning that if the push start failed, you got to sit there and look for neutral again.) the gas tank was a red gas can that I strapped behind the seat, which gave your legs plenty of room, the lights (headlight & tail light only) only worked when the engine was running because it did not have a battery, and really the only good part on that bike was the single carb w/accelerator pump, which moved that little 250 better than all the chinese dual carbs most people get stuck with. anyway, I ran out of gas on my way to work, and left it in the bushes on a Sunday night. somebody must have thought it was junk, because it was gone when I came back the next morning to get it.
1st Honda CB750 engines were sandcast. 😎
Great video
It's always a great day on the water whether you are fishing or not.......lol
If i win the Rocket i will not donate it back. I will keep it for my own selfish pleasures 😈
Camz, do the countdown …..
“Ramming speed in 3, 2, 1” - (then, hit it)
I might have that too coz I absolutely hate when I can't see Land. When it's a hundred miles to the nearest Island I just think "Why the, in God's name are we out here?"
Just got my Ticket, at least I live in Gainesville and can save Forgotten Angels an Airfare, besides you guys have to come here to pick up Poison Ivy Telecaster for another Raffle coming and after all we Really know what we are doing is Lifting up others, lifting up those Kids. So it really isn't about Winning Josh's Bike, it's more about the Kids and Josh making a Supreme sacrifice of something he Loved, For Those he cared about and for. Now Buy a Ticket for the Kids
Nice Cocoa Nuts! Is Cami-Bay a Vampire? I don't think she has ever been out in the sun before.
dem oomun beans was clever as fuktitude with mud and molten metal
Yes enjoy those boats down there
Hello David and Cindy
ARMEEEE!
Keep the shiny side up :)
I hope you are saving those old beer cans to save on aluminum.
I’ll buy tickets to win Cammie
Yeah, if that raffle happens just let me know. I'll buy the whole lot of tickets.
If I win the rocket, I'll sell it back to Josh for a fishing trip on max brown.
Cool
You could use Magic Sand.
NOBODY LIVES FOREVER.
IN THIS WORLD.👍👍
I work in aviation and we use a lot of castings
Shadetree, much respect to ya, hopefully you're getting something from these 304's, if not, you're doing some serious simpin".
Is Thallassophobia a fear of standing up straight? You can bet your Cookie Blissful Ellie don't suffer from it. 🤣😂😂 Thallasseuphoria maybe.😂😂
IIRC, the Rocket III makes more torque at idle than a stock Hayabusa does max.
How did I miss this video?
Your front exhaust is about to fall off the shovel.. if you didn't see it.
Got a 22 ft ocean boat, had a hot blonde... lets just say the steering wheel got a different use out of it. Honey, wait till we get out in the middle of the ocean. I only fished with one particular girl on the boat. She knew how to throw a cast net, and fish all day.
Tougher than me, love. I ain't looking to beat it.
That shovel is such a turd. lol
The intro to this made me have to go listen to Tom Waits. What's he building in there? Lol
Living the life
Dude you are freaking awesome 👌 👏 👍 😍 love you bro
Keep on, keeping on! Great video!
You got half a gas tank lol... BRO?!...??
yup. not a penny goes to you.....sounds legit
Blud be playing Subnautica irl ⛵🐙
🥇
Hard for me being in my late forties. I never know what the millenials are saying, and they are the funniest to be around. Thumbs up anyway.
I had a go at sand casting (one go) many many years ago in another lifetime and I seem to remember there was oil in the sand. Special oil and special sand. I also think the box you made is way too small, I think there should be at least two or three inches of sand either side of the part you are casting. Good luck with it.
I know you will be making your own pistons or pegs or levers soon !
@Shadetreesurgeon What happened to your friend that was a channel regular, about 3/4 years ago? I can’t remember his name, but he seemed like a good dude.
I'm stopped at the unboxing of the buddy bezos forge and thinking to myself that sand casting aluminum is one of those things I've heard is super easy and always works out first try... 😂
LMAO yeeeeahhh not exactly smooth sailing
@@shadetreesurgeon Let's just say i wasn't shocked later in the video =)
hi cammie. i miss chey😢.
I need a boat
Maybe slacken the screws, pack in more sand and tighten the screws to compress it. 🤔
You should have went to visit a Sand Caster and did the Vlog there. Would still be a good video.👍
I´m a bit sad that you are giving the Rocket away, because you were the Reason i bought myself a Rocket... But i like that it is for a good cause! And always remember... The Devil rides Triumph!
I have to mention this, my school pal Ozzy was named after Ozimandias not Ozzy Osbourne as most folk imagined.👊✌️
