You forgot to mention: she has money. Also, since she is part of the fashion world she is exposed to clothing all day as part of her job. I doubt she has to spend her own time shopping. She looks good, but her style is a bit much for the average woman. I would guess each outfit cost over $500.00 with shoes and bag - a conservative estimate. This wasn't helpful.
Awesome. Her style can be mimicked as well. These videos give ideas. We can find pieces at lower end stores. A lot of people with money shop thrift as well.

I’ve only recently found out about Linda Wright, but I love her style. I like that she introduces colour so well to her outfits. Even if you aren’t the same shape as her you can learn a lot from her about colour and texture. I’ve recently gone through menopause and have been struggling to align my old way of dressing to my new self. Gone are the boho and ditsy dresses. Print just doesn’t work on me anymore. When I saw this woman’s style I realised what was missing - prints away from my face now work better and dressing in block colour. I love the scarves she wears too, but will have to go thrifting for silk. Cashmere pieces I am beginning to add year by year. I tend to gravitate towards bootcut trousers, but may give the baggier straight leg trousers a go. I think it’s all in the fit of the clothes. This woman has certainly learnt a lot from Ralph Lauren!

As long as I don't buy junk food, I don't eat it. Easiest tip ever! Also, takes me 10 minutes to walk round the block, or do an exercise video. I'm hooked on them!
It is so important to use the appropriate vocabulary. This gorgeous woman is 75 AND, despite the media depicting older women as anything but fabulous, this lady just shuts them down.
@@lose999 LW BECAME an icon. She used to be an unknown fashion model. As to « rich », first you don’t know, second even if she is well off, who says she has not worked for it and deserves it ? What she models in not her personal wardrobe but what she sells in her shop (which I know well). Advertisement, so to say.
i see some comments about Linda's physique giving her an advantage of how great she looks. However, I am going to disagree. She has style, it's not just the fashions. She' not wearing clothes that are tight or revealing. She wear clothes that fit her body, something we can all do at any height, size and budget. Walmart, Target, Kohls and Amazon are affordable ways, everyone can start to take more interest in their style. Shop using the 12 tips offered in this video and you'll see, you can look this good at any age, size, budget. I'm just saying.
While I agree on most of your points, I feel like physique matters, she is rather on a taller side, long legs, proportionally build. Also, one of those 12 points were quality of material. I doubt one can find quality on a budget from the stores you listed…cotton maybe if you are lucky, but good luck w cashmere or silk on a budget.
@@jylbek71 Hmm, I live in New York and there are several outlet stores that offer cashmere, silk, linen at affordable prices; Nordstrom Rack, The Loft, Bloomingdales Outlet etc. You have to know where to go and when to shop. What's most key is knowing how to style your body, whatever that size may be.
Again, negative commenters missing the point of the video. Even us common folk can look to her and emulate her style with more affordable dupes. Since her style is classic and mainstream it would be easy to do. She’s also slim , again, something most people can attain no matter their status.
Many people struggle with their weight, and most of us won't be rail thin and wear clothes like hangers. No...this is absolutely unattainable for most people on modest budgets. If an average woman purchased a gigantic, oversized sweater she'd look like a walking mess! Real people have real issues.
I am in my 50's and was thin when I was young, then heavier, now a bit lighter, but I still need a large or XL most of the time. Some of her looks would work great on me, some not so much, but I can use some of these ideas. To say though, that most people can be as slim as this woman is rude, as I worked pretty hard just not to be obese. She has a slender build, with fine bones, and not much for curves. She's a model, and she looks it. As for cheaper dupes, to some degree yes, but cheaper clothes are never going to look like a high end cashmere sweater or a perfectly cut cashmere coat.
She looks good (obv being thin is the key factor here....we all know it!) but take her out of context for a moment and put her in a crappy run down high st going through the bins and suddenly her 'chic' casual layered looks take on a whole new vibe!LOL Just wear what makes you happy, people!
Wow, she's amazing! She looks great for her age. Her style is on point without looking ridiculous, without trying to look young, BUT elegant. True , her aura exudes confidence, so no matter what she wears, it looks beautiful on her!!!👍🏼👏❤
Attractive, good posture, weight conscious yet not too thin. Think 80% of these photos depict her with two to three “fussy” add ons which disguise her attractive silhouette. Loose a belt, a scarf, a color contrast. Elegance demands allowing the viewer’s eyes to relax and their breath to calm.
reading the comments sort of break my heart because some say she is just rich & thin that's why she can afford the "looks"... Women like her encourages us to embrace our age & enjoy while we can. One, no you don't need to buy what she wears, thrifting is one way of finding gems. Two, you don't need to be thin like she does, as we age our bodies does become different so what we need to do is love our bodies & dress what best fits it.
The best accessory in this video is confidence. Regardless of how you decide to dress, do it in a way to give your confidence a boost and then own it with your head up, great posture, a beautiful smile and don't forget the trendy shades and lipstick that flatters your skin tone. I do agree that solids are best. Too much pattern is ageing. And monochromatic colors in neutral shades will always be classic and youthful.
She wasn’t the “founder” of Crimson Cashmere.” She “took its reins” in 2004. In the fashion world this could mean she became the head designer. She was a fashion model and then she worked for Ralph Lauren. One doesn’t necessarily have to be rich to wear fine clothes in that world! A LOT of freebies and swaps are made! I worked in the industry for a bit. Not for a designer but attthe retail level for a shop that sold fine clothing. Your best best is to get a job working close to the industry and be on the lookout for trade days and trunk shows! Lots of clothing changes hands during those times!!! And don’t forget SECONDS! SAKS as Off Fifth and Neiman’s has a discount website , too! And Poshmark! All great places to find discounted designer clothes!!!

And, let’s add what few are willing to concede: She has maintained a trim figure, which is critical to carrying off any and every fashion look with aplomb.
Of course she looks like a fashion icon. Lord love her, she has nothing else to spend her time / money on, plus she has access to stylists and photographers to make her look like a “fashion icon”. Good luck to her but it’s hardly realistic…more like typical social media click bait.
LW certainly does not need a stylist, she is one !!! And how do you know how she « spends her time/money » ? She runs a shop, does not spend her time in front of the mirror. Her looks are quite « realistic », you see other women like that in Paris.

I've been watching and admiring Linda V. Wright's style for years. She was a model so she does have that model physique, and she knows how to move. But yes, her style is fabulous, especially for taller women who have that inverted triangle frame. Shorter and differently shaped women (most of the rest of us) can certainly take some tips from her, especially regarding colour - for instance, don't be afraid of it! Note that not all the photos shown in this video are of Linda V Wright. At least one is of one of her daughters, who is also a model.

I’ve been following Linda for some time. I dress similar to her, but using less color. I spend quite a lot on designer clothes and accessories (although I don’t own a Birkin bag). But I will never look as good as Linda, as I don’t have her figure. I don’t think recognizing that means “negativity”, I’m just being realistic.
She wears absolutely no designer clothes. She wears high quality things, often from long established companies unknown to the masses.
Tons to learn here. Unusual colour combos and virtually no prints - except in scarves. Good one 🎉
There were lots of patterned pants.
There were, but I personally preferred the outfits with less pattern. I’ve noticed that on myself, too, since menopause. Not sure why, really.

Many people struggle with their weight, and most of us won't be rail thin and wear clothes like hangers. No...this is absolutely unattainable for most people on modest budgets. If an average woman purchased a gigantic, oversized sweater she'd look like a walking mess! Real people have real issues.
