When i saw that thumbnail, i knew I was going to enjoy this video. I love Maisto. Love what they have been doing on the cheaper end of the diecast scale. Accurate models, with details. The only visible compromises being the wheels and the interiors. But, for me, these beat 75% of what Mattel has been putting out.
The yellow school bus comes with a full interior, which is quite beautiful for maisto , I am a diecast customizer and I’ve been picking these up for their budget. Friendly custom builds.😊
I bought a few of these and thought they were great for a simple wheel swap and some extra silver marker details. The Buick GN is really solid, weighs a ton and is perfect for swapping wheels. Who cares about the interior? Wow I was thrilled how it came out when I was finished. I have a 2nd for different wheels. I also picked up the silver Porsche Targa roadster and I think a 57 Chevy.
Still way better than the cheap 5 for 1$ cars we got in the 80s the blazers look pretty good. The late 70s beetles had massive tailights like that. They look bad in real life too
They are an interesting brand to collect. Have a few, including a Corvette and a Lamborghine Terzo Millenio. Those two have very different wheels compared to all of these. While not the best(in any fashion) quality cars, still not the worst out there. Recently picked up the '71 Roadkill GT, which I think is a cool lil car. All in all, I dig some of them. Good stuff.
I've picked up a few of these a little over a year ago when I went hunting for HWs and there were none, but there was a ton of these. I think they're worth what I paid for them and will definitely get more in the future.
I really don't know that series exiting at this world, it's kinda cool! And if they are really cheaper than basic HW ones, I will start my hunting soon
They are also available at Dollar General, at least in my area. They actually don’t seem too bad, particularly the Blazers and RAV4. Might have to pick some up!
Maistos may not be perfect, But I've seen people do some custom jobs on them by replacing the Wheels and adding in more details to make them look much more realistic.
Not that I'm going to collect them, but they aren't bad for what they are. They are reasonably proportional to the actual cars, more than I can say for some brands.
There ok ..i cant say I don't have that Grand National..lol There are 2 lambos a blue and a white that are really incredible Lowest riding diecast .. cant even see light under it . Vernaino ....Vemanino Ill stop butchering the name now ... the real life car is less then 10 ever made i think . I love to pick up tons of 80s cheapo cars ..when at the fle market .i call it ......eh they made a kinda sorta effort ... an some older yatmings ...road champs are actually pretty decently made back then..
Ouch - not attracted to "cheap" diecast finds. I see too many of these in Hot Wheels multipacks when people have taken the good multipack exclusives and replaces then with this drivel.
With a wheels swap and some testors paint pen detailing, these aren't too bad. I'd give some of them a try.
I’ve collected a few of them. Ive detail painted and wheel swapped a couple of them and they look pretty good for what they are.
I pick them up out of desperation (when pegs are dry) to come home with something. lol. Some of the casting are not bad

These are made by Maisto. That Toyota is hard to find.

I do wheel swaps on all of them. The details are pretty good. Usually headlight and taillight tampos
The casting is just as good if not even better than on HW. Check it out.

Confirmed, it’s maisto 👌

Got some in my collection. Buick r pretty cool I like the Buicks🍺😎

The casting itself is very nicely made, the wheels are crap but it's not like HW wheels are so great.
these look like they have good custom potential also nice cheap practice cars or shells!
Maisto does some of these as premiums. Not bad looking, and hard to find.

Have y'all seen those 1/32 scale trucks that Walmart was selling not too long ago? Also Adventure Force / Maisto. Surprisingly good, I snagged a few.
Not great but not bad. You need to get the Lamborghini. Its pretty cool.
Damn, those look a lot better than the ones I bought. They’re the same exact brand though. Maybe they got better over the last several months.😆
At least with these you can find what you want. The scalpers pretty much leave these alone . These are there when hot wheels are gone.
Ertl lacks interiors and has black windows….they would make great junk yard cars.
The only thing that bothers me, is the blacked out windows.
For a while they had special paint, "Spectraflamish".
I checked these out in a video about a year ago. They're good for folks that want to practice customs? They're a mixed bag of Maisto generic castings.
I agree with you their not the worst looking diecast I'm like you I've seen way better diecast but but their not to bad 👍🏻✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

I didn't know Adventure Force is just rebranded Maisto. I wonder why they do this.
Walmart does the same thing with their clothes. They do the same thing with their tools.
Well, the mustang horse on the front of that yellow one is better than the RLC I just bought a few weeks ago!

Ah, Maisto….
Totally underrated brand though.
