First we had Bloc Party making their TV debut with helicopter (th-cam.com/video/9oXWGxM4PY4/w-d-xo.html), and then this coming on. Was well on the way with the post-punk genre at time but this just sent me into orbit. Fucking amazing.
I wouldn't question it but maybe this is just because I'm German ;) but to be honest to me it looks just like the typical punk/emo style which was pretty modern at the time. Think about soccer every captain has this arm band.
