Very nice meeting you! I’m Hector (guy that helped with the trains) and I appreciate learning about rural America through your videos! Glad to see your trip to NYC went well :)
Trinity, I’m an 87 year old man from Oklahoma, raised in the country, watch all of your videos. I imagined myself being in New York in your situation trying to find my way. I don’t walk very well, can’t see very well and can’t hear very well. I could make it better in the wilderness than I could in New York City. But I admire you for your courage. And I really did enjoy you taking us to New York City with you. Thank you very much!
I'm with you my man, I'd do better being dropped blindfolded in the wilderness than to go to N.Y. City.. Not only no, but hell no.. You haven't got enough money to get me to go there...
I been to NYC 2 times in my 63 years. I’ve pulled my 45 and 9 mill Glock each time I was there! I’m from Texas! I wasn’t going to be hindered by the others since
This reminds me of Crocodile Dundee when he went to New York. That’s so awesome that you got to meet Kevin Costner. I would be star struck. I love his work. Great job for standing up to the guy in the subway. We need to stand up for each other. Yes it might have been an awkward situation but you stood up to him. Great job Trinity. I bet you are glad to be back home. Thanks for sharing. Take care, see ya :)
I am 75 and grew up on a homestead in Idaho. We farmed and had cattle. I admire you doing the New York thing on your own. You are a very brave man. I feel you are trying to get this country back to its roots. I give you my best and my prayers.
The noise ,the heights of building, to much for this Texas grandma. Thank you for standing up for the ladies. If every man on subway stood up to bullies itvwould stop. God Bless you
Thanks for exemplifying Matthew 5:16. Good job my friend. And thanks for content on your channel where I’m not constantly hearing the f word. So happy for you meeting KC. Keep up the good work!
Trinity, you definitely should get a medal for bravery to go to NYC in the first place! Great interview with Mr. Costner. I would hope he received a few nuggets of real life in the West from you to think upon for a while. Would imagine your paths will one day cross again but on the western horizon instead. Glad you made it back home safely and know that is where your heart is always. God bless, and you and your family stay safe.
We live in our own worlds My Grandpa would say you’re only as smart as were your standing. Your trip through NYC is proof of that. You defiantly represented well & cowboyed up!
Trinity, your Subway Psyco story happens everyday in the Big Cities. The folks who run those cities never take public transportation ( unless it’s a photo-op) or go anywhere without Armed Security…. It really sucks for everyone else.
The world needs more of YOU! Thank you! This is excellent , top notch ! You have kahonies of steel my friend! as a cowboy from Nevada you have my 64 year old respect!
Great Experience! Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed your conversation with Kevin Costner. What a Gift for each of you. I Love Horizon. I have watched it many times.
I disagree that you say you're not brave. You did what needed to be done, knowing that you could've come out on the short end of the stick. That's the very definition of courage.
Trinity, I love your honesty, this was fun, ty for taking us along. Looking forward to more trips with you. Our family went to the first installment of Horizon per your review. We throughly enjoyed it, and we will see the next one...your authentic theirs only one Trinity, good things are ahead for you, and your family.
So glad you got home safely. I went to Paris with my son and experienced the total confusion of the subway. So cool that you got to meet Kevin . Have a great day.
This was a great story and I’m glad you survived the subway so you could meet Kevin Costner. Personally, I would have a hard time being in much of New York City without being well armed.
Trinity, The good Lord was watching over you! My goodness! I haven’t been to NYC since the late 80’s. I doubt I will ever go back! So cool you were invited to meet K.C. And see his next movie. You would be great in a western movie since you already do so with your YT channel! All the best and I’m so grateful you are safe and back at home. Give Calibar a hug from me! God bless you and yours!❤️🙏🏻✝️
That was an excellent (documentary) video… your videos are getting better and better. I really appreciate you putting yourself out there and inviting your viewers on your every day activities at home in Montana.
Cowboy in the City.... I tell you what, I grew up in a very small rural farming community. I moved to the city on a job offer but I used to get sent to New York. My host with sign was not there, I used the train to get downtown and couldn't tell where I was to get off so asked a girl and she just laughed in my face, got lost at the terminal and walked up to a giant of a cop (over 7 feet tall and not a smile), I get escorted to a cab that cost a pretty penny as I was still in New Jersey. Been to NY many times now and all I can say is the only piece of heaven was in the center of the city in the Park and food is amazing, Central Park was like this weird section of incredible energy that seemed out of place in the cold city, but there is no place like country if you ask me. Kevin Cosner rocks, guy is a real icon not just for acting but for being a real artist of things that matter. Had a friend who went to college with the guy and he said the guy was like no one else on campus, he was "The Man"😂😅 By the way I agree people need to step up to someone off track, the result of not doing so is not a good road.
I don't care what the critics say about the movie. I watched it and for me is six starts. I hope the second part will be 6 or better. I am 63 and live in the island territory. I love the authenticity of Western movies, especially in firearms and clothes, and the little details. I look forward to watching Horizon 2 for real. Thank you for cheering. 👉👍👈🖖
Trinity, you can fit in anywhere! This might b the start to more big adventures and the ability to have a bigger voice for the American ranchers W of the Missouri!
That would be great if this adventure of Trinity’s got more exposure so he could reach more people with important messages about our land and the practices that are not so good for us watch his interview with the man from the meat industry that one is spectacular!!! I’m 75 and had no idea that was taking place. Go Trinity!!! Tell the public the things we need to know. Help Americans help to fix what’s wrong with it now. We have a God given nation let’s get it great again!
True, the only issue is you now have DA's who are a bunch of vajayjays and charge the wrong guy....maybe these folks(the victims) will get tired of it one day and vote in real men who will do something about it.
I am the same way in public. Almost overly patient, kind and generous. So if I experience opposition and ugly behavior. My response of squashing such behavior feels justified.
Lol, I think you cheeking the gum while talking to Kevin was funny as heck. Great video I enjoyed the hell out of it. You're such a genuine man it gives me faith in humanity.
We like you, respect you and wish the best for you and your family! Thanks for all you do for us, by showing us where we need to fix our America (in certain areas of -industry- laws- way things are done- etc.)

I couldn't even imagine how frustrating and scary those subways would be. Never been to New York and I don't know if I'll ever get there. But thank you for sharing and Kevin Costner and the interview was amazing. Thanks Trinity Love your videos.. very glad you made it back home safe. Wow! What an adventure❤😂
I remember people following Google Maps to their deaths. Bridges incomplete, roads out. Etc. I would have probably hired a guide, in all honesty! More honestly I would never go there, even gor a star celebrity. Im too old to change my rual ways! It was interesting having you do it for me. Vicarious adventure Trinity. Thanks!

Thank you for opening up our eyes to bargain priced meats at stores like Walmart. We thank you Trinity for speaking out to help the rest of us know important points in our USA. We like you a lot and agree with your moral decisions.🤗
I loved K.C.'s comment about the name tag on your shirt! Actually laughed out loud! I think you just broke down the stereo types of NY-ers not being friendly - Hector and the others proved that wrong! Thanks for taking us with you - doubt I will ever get an opportunity to visit. I too live in the western part of the US and love my 'flat land' ....
Thank you for standing up to the bully & protecting the ladies on the subway. It's sad that society has devolved to the point that one drug crazed person can hold an entire group hostage. As a retired Deputy Sheriff I would not tolerate such behavior. I still believe in the old ways, when we saw real men everywhere, every day. We should not require one cowboy from Montana to protect a group of locals in N.Y. city. God bless you for standing up for what is right. 🤗🇺🇸🙏🤠
Loved it ! Looking forward to that next episode. Man, it must be such an honor for you. I guess you'll be like an advisor. We will hear about it eventually. All the best.
Kudos to you Trinity for getting out there and out of your comfort zone. I'm from Nebraska and I'd probably still be stuck in the subway! Just like the song The Old Cow Man , I like my fellow man when he's scattered some.
Great video! I agree if you’re able to help in a bad situation you should. I am a fifth generation cowboy from Colorado and was raised on the historic T-Bone ranch that spanned southern Colorado and northern New Mexico. The men and cowboys I grew up with were the real deal and I try my hardest to hold that honor and position in today’s world. I have always admired Woodrow in Lonesome Dove when he knocks down that army scout with his horse and beats the tar out of him for his unacceptable rude behavior. Gus has to be admired as well for pulling Woodrow off and cooling him down. I respect your courage in your situation.
What an amazing journey! You actually did it and came out the other side with a new understanding of the true makeup of our wonderful country. Talk about leaving your comfort zone. 👏👏👏👍
Excellent video Trinity. I started watching your channel after i saw you on one of Peter Santenello’s videos, really enjoy the stuff you put out. Looking forward to seeing what you have coming up next in this series.
This was a wonderful video. From everyone that helped you, meeting up with Kevin and going to the premiere. Incredible experience. My sons and I visited NYC a few times and whilst on their transit system my son got up to give his seat to a woman. She inquired if we were from NYC as she said no one does that anymore and thanked my son. It’s the little things matter.
Trinity u are quite a man. Love watching you. Former NYC member paramedic in the city for 20 yrs. Have seen it all but my heart is in Montana. You are my hero and thank God your confrontation ended well. Thanks for what you do but mostly who u are. God bless
I didn't know anything about this show and just happened to run across it and watched it. I just thought it was a generic western. I was over half way through it when I IMDB'd it and saw that it was a Costner film. After watching this, I am going to watch it again. Thank you Trinity. I have loved watching your experiences in the City and on the train. I'm from Wyoming. I have been to NYC but I was lucky enough to have a lady show me the subway system and keep me safe while touring that city. Keep up the great work. You do it much better than the other TH-camrs.
Awsome Vid Trinity! I grew up in the outback Africa..and at 19 years old ..our family arrived in New York. 1977. Felt completely out of place! Had to go through all kinds of Drs..for health checkups and shots..We were there when the city had a complete blackout! Walking down hotel stairway with flashlights to go find food in the morning..and no cafe was operating. I So feel your displacement there! Love this trip of yours though! What a jungle journey for you!!!
Yes, you totally captured how you were “out of your element.” I went in 2014. I too, was completely out of mine. I can’t imagine living like New Yorkers’ do! So cool how your review got recognized too. You’re authentic and we need this in America today. I also appreciated your patience exhibited during the navigation around the city.
What a great experience-for you and for all of us who follow you. Subways haven’t changed since the muggers of the nasty 70’s - before Giuliani came in. He cleaned up the city. Now it’s back to crazies and muggers. Costner interview was enlightening. Been following you several years. Thank you!
@@LifeintheWest you’re very welcome, I’ve moved from a big city 10 years ago after retiring from the medical field and it’s been wonderful here near flathead . We have followed you way back to your first interview. We love your channel.
Your arrival in NYC, figuring out the subway and making your way to your hotel was extremely impressive! Thank you for telling the story of the threatening guy, and how you said you were just doing the right thing, in your view, by putting yourself in danger, though this is something you have rarely if ever had to do. I can only imagine that the three ladies you mentioned were very grateful for your presence. I think that was courageous of you, and not surprising for a Montana cowboy. I appreciate your authenticity.
You’re a brave man Trinity I know I couldn’t do the New York subway or even the city. I’m just a small town girl, but I liked your video. It showed me things that I could only imagine. And meeting Kevin Costner was icing on the cake. Thanks!
After seeing you trying to navigate the NY mazes and being so hemmed in by the press of humanity, it made me realize that I too need wide open spaces, big skies, infinite elbow room, wild animals and nature in its raw state. Kudos to you for your courage in your adventuring and in meeting Kevin Costner. It was actually a relief to see you back in your element, walking around in Montana, safe and sound. Your great grandfather may have had a similar scary experience when he passed through Ellis Island, as did my own grandfather. Thank you so much for the tour!
Trinity, Thanks for this video. Thank you for standing against fear and evil. Perhaps you went to NYC to stand up against the fear in the subway, as much to meet the celebrity. I read the following prayer and thought I’d share it: God, all my hope is in You. You are all I need. Thank You for being my protector and the source of my strength. In every situation I face, I ask for Your courage and endurance to face it and handle it well. Please guide me with Your wisdom as I make decisions, and fill me with peace as I do what You’ve called me to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Good job! You had me laughing as you discussed some of your travelling challenges but you took it all in stride. Good for you for standing up for the lady on the train!
Oh wow. I watched Horizon on your recommendation...❤thank you so much...I just finished it and it was everything I hoped it would be! Can't wait to see the next chapter! Just terrific!
Well, I'll be blessed. You definitely were out of your comfort zone, but I know that you were glad you went. I have a taxidermy friend who supplied all the leather for Kevin Costners' movie Dances With Wolves. Just awesome that you got the opportunity to meet hi..
U have guts,I would have been lost worse then u. I live in a rural town on acreage,I don't go many places, but about 3 hours and back,u have so much courage for a cowboy. Thanks for showing this video!
Man, that's awesome. Love Kevin, he does great work and seems to be a genuine human being who loves his craft. Have no idea why his series received such negativity. Like you all discuss, it's authentic. I personally am looking forward to the next three parts, and genuinely believe the negativity came from his departure from Yellowstone.
Great video Trinity. I grew up in the NYC area and we of course don’t think twice about how we get around. Watching you trek from JFK to the subway gave me a different perspective when folks from outside the area come to visit. I left the area in 93 and have lived all over the country due to my career. I have visited Montana many times skiing. Love Montana! Keep the great videos coming.
This was super cool to meet Kevin...You are becoming somewhat of a celebrity Trinity....We used to see him on his boat fishing several years ago...I would not be surprised if Kevin puts you into a scene or two on his next episode...
Lolol Trinity, I was cracking up watching you navigate the city and subway. Living out here in MT and someone who has to frequent the east coast, I get it. A lot of “been there, done that” moments you had that I’ve had. Glad you made back it one piece!
Ain't NO WAY I'd ever venture up there with all them folks! You're a braver man than I am. By minute 23:20 I was quivering like a puppy poopin' a peach seed, A nervous wreck on your behalf just sittin' here in my shop in Idaho.
Such a great video! Glad to see you out there trying to navigate New York City! Can't imagine how you did it! As a fellow Montanan, I can imagine how stressful that was! Thank you for sharing!!
Very nice meeting you! I’m Hector (guy that helped with the trains) and I appreciate learning about rural America through your videos! Glad to see your trip to NYC went well :)

Thanks for watching for so long. Hopefully the next videos will be to your liking as well.
Wow. That would have been quite the experience to be in a strange city and have a power out. 😳
Thank you!
I new you had it. Good great job trinity. I am obsessed with western history
Thanks from Texas Trinity❤
What an incredible journey…amazingly presented…so cool!
You represented Montana on your trip , we could’ve asked for a better person to do so . Thank you !
@@montana4939 That is so kind of you. Thank you for that!
@@LifeintheWest you’re very welcome, I’ve moved from a big city 10 years ago after retiring from the medical field and it’s been wonderful here near flathead . We have followed you way back to your first interview. We love your channel.
thanks' Trinity for your great video ,you like you're easy and positive energy
Thank you. I thought it was an interesting experience, both good and bad. 😁
This is your best video! Thanks for keeping it real and admitting what went wrong which made it a riveting story. Keep up the adventures!
Trinity,
Thanks for this video. Thank you for standing against fear and evil. Perhaps you went to NYC to stand up against the fear in the subway, as much to meet the celebrity.
I read the following prayer and thought I’d share it:
God, all my hope is in You.
You put a smile on my face Trinity and strangely a feeling of American pride, I've been missing that for some time.
You are a lot braver than I am. !!
Wow this is amazing! I had to go to New York and I will happily never go back! 😂
55 years ago, it was alot nicer.
Thanks for videos very educational and congratulations on meeting Kevin Costner he's one of my favorite actors
That is a very cool opportunity Trinity! Saw the first movie after your review and I am excited for the second part!
You are a brave man Trinity. I can handle the wilderness & the back country. The big cities no thank you.
Amazing Trinity I really enjoyed this video. Keep up the great work man!
Thanks for sharing your trip.nice to what people are
Crocodile dundee was the first thing i thought of😂
Me too! 😁
Or the cowboy way!
