I love have candid and out there Levi is. I feel like you don't see any other CEOs in the ebike industry doing interviews like this

Just got my XPress 750ST and I'm confused about those unexplained multiplier settings (P11: Multiplier Toggle Setting). I want to know what they are, what they do and how I can get them to work...or if I can. Someone needs to do a video if they are able to be fine-tuned.

The only setting you should need to change is the P08 setting to max out top speed to a class 3. I wouldn’t change anything else unless you want to have it perform different than how it cane.
Lectric sets them so most people won’t need anything to change, but if you feel you want a specific thing different, it’s best to call them and ask what they’d recommend.

I ordered the Xpress for two reasons, well maybe three.. one my husband has a trike and we love that one, two it looks like a traditional bike and I love that and three the price. I had no idea we bought a top of the line. I just got it about a week ago so have not had time to put some miles on it yet. We have an acre of land so I rode it around the yard and I was impressed as how comfortable it was over all the rough terrain in our yard. I did purchase the comfort package. The free battery is no longer an option as of July when I ordered mine.

Congrats on your purchases! I finally got one to review and it was everything I thought it would be and more! Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. Safe riding!

What has happened to the X Premium?

Can the xpress fit 27.5 x 2.8 plus tires? I'd like to use it for light off-roading.

Lock that fork. I'm sure you can find a good balance with a slightly larger tire.

The bike truly encourages long rides. I was skeptical about the range and feel of the torque sensing set-up as they described it but I have been peddling my days away since I got the bike.

If you listen to what he says it’s not really a torque sensor. It’s a cadence sensor with 94 magnets. They are marketing it as a cadence sensor. This just a better cadence sensor

Sorry. My edits may have made it sound that way because I was initially confused when we started the interview thinking it was a high magnet cadence sensor too.
I realized that they actually made a real torque sensor for the Xpress. It’s not a cadence. My edits may have made it sound that way because I had to cut out my questions where I asked about that being a cadence that acted like a torque sensor.
I believe the 90+ sensor cadence is for their Lectric One that acts like a torque. I think the PWR system is cadence and the PWR+ is a real torque

No that cadence sensor you are taking about is on an earlier Letric bike, biggiesmalls. This is a torque sensor. Levi has stated in other interviews that he wanted to create their own torque sensor that did not lose the plus of a cadence.
And having rode a cadence for years and got a torque a couple.of months ago, I get it. I prefer torque 💯 but do miss some things about the cadence.

I wish they would offer this in the brown color that was shown in the pre production Hi Step model. This company only offers black and white colors except on their cheapest model, I don't understand this decision by Levi @ Lectric if you're listening, please consider this.

Less tech, less weight, more range, more speed, affordable. That's all we want. Why not make a single speed? I like Lectric as a company. I owned the original XP 1.0. It must be incredibly difficult to become good at the tech side of ebike manufacturing, while maintaining the humility to scrap all that tech in favor of price, range, and speed.

single speed? how can you pedal a low gear while going 15-28 mph....cause that wont work....unless your referring to their automatic transmission ebike where it automatically shifts for you like in a car.

Few things i will look for . Tests to make sure this new e-bike does not shake like crazy when lifting hands off the handlebars . Sure you should not ride any bike and take your hands off but many do at some point and time as it can be a bit fun or if taking a drink from water bottle while riding . Mostly though it shows if a bike is balanced well . Need to make sure your feet do not hit the tire on there previous e-bike , while turning . Last thing . There e-bikes are rated for max 28mph but yet every e-bike they sell its a pain to reach that 28mph let alone any attempt to maintain that speed . If this is the same as all the rest then not worth it to me . Desperately needed to make a change to there battery packs . They al start with 18650 cells 10ah . These packs are major cheap to make with this this tiny capacity and there is now considerable competition now at the $1000-$1500 price range with more manufacturers now coming out with 60v 20ah on there $2000 price range e-bikes . For me i lost all interest after there Lectric 3.0 ….. was looking forward to there lectric one until i saw the very tiny frame with that very low cost 48v 10ah for $2000 …. We are seeing 52v-60v 20ah now at that price …. Would be nice to see e-bikes with no less then 21700 cells and 20ah by now . Look up the price on google how low there cells cost . Get rid of the 10ah size for good .

When does the xpress get the pinion rear hub and the gates belt drive?
