@user-pd6nl2dr9yyeah that’s not true man, at least in term of he doesn’t have to get rid of them. He might choose to remove some of the more satanic ones, but even then, they are part of his story and will give him the chance to witness to folks you and I wouldn’t have much in common with.
@user-pd6nl2dr9yGod is more concerned about the heart of a person. Being a Christian is not joining a club and following religious rules. It's about true freedom and the revelation that Jesus is God. God works with Peoples layers. It can take time for some things to be undone, and physical things like tattoos from someones past, don't matter.

The love of Jesus Christ is for all
I had enlightened moments when I sobered up after doing 90 days in county prison. And I've sobered up prior to that as well, but never from everything. I always had some crutch, whether it was marijuana or alcohol. I'm now going on 2 years sober from alcohol, but I've slipped back into marijuana -since it's now medicinal. The PO doesn't care because I have a medical card. But I've realized that for me, I'm just blocking the pain and sense of feeling and being alive. Those enlightened moments I had were also filled with demons that I had a hard time facing. My dreams were far more vivid and real, and I'd wake up in tears (not because of prison but because of sobriety, and with it -dreams of deep conversation with dead relatives, and the look of disappointment in their eyes) Even one crutch is enough to chase those demons away, but I feel like it's time I go back and fight that battle again, and face the hard truths I couldn't face since my release. There is a higher power found in sobriety, and it's not from giving up just 1 crutch. You gunk your soul up with resin and cloud your mind with drink. Sobriety can be so much more euphoric when you accept the hard truths. I've caught glimpses of angels hiding behind those demons, but was too scared to embrace it at the time. Again, I'm ready to fight that battle once more.
Disclaimer: I don't do AA or go to meetings. So far, this has been a personal journey because I have social anxiety and trust issues
Congratulations... as I read your words I felt very happy for you; I am going on 3 year's of working on sobriety and it's great... alcohol is the worst thing that was in my life. I finally feel like a whole person. God bless you and your sobriety ❤🙏❤

For those of you doubting, why don't you try sincerely asking Jesus if He is real and to show Himself to you. His presence and overwhelming LOVE will change you. You will know it's Him because there is no temporary high that compares to the everlasting LOVE, PEACE & JOY that only JESUS CHRIST can bring.
