- Welcome to the Mazak Minute hosted by The HEH Group's senior application engineer, Mike Zillich. On the Mazak Minute, our goal is to share insightful information to help you learn and improve your skills as a machinist.
Episode one will be covering pocket milling. Zillich discovered a better pattern to mill pockets by machining from the inside out instead of outside in. Throughout the video, Zillich will give step-by-step directions on how to make this pattern and talk about the benefits of milling this way.

can you please explain the SRV R ? ?? both in XC and ZC? is it my lead in and lead out essentially?
Man you didn't even talk about IPM... IPM is such a lovely feature 😄
Glad to see someone going over these more technical aspects with the parameter changes and such.
I believe some, if not all of these parameter changes can be made to that specific unit via TPC, if someone did not want to make a permanent change to the defaults.

Hi Mike. My name is Pawel and I'am from Poland. He works on the MAZATECH FH-680 machine ( MAZATROL FUSION 640M) . Your tutorials are very helpful. Could you prepare a tutorials on circular milling of large diameter holes? For example mill a hole diameter 222mm into diameter 230mm deptch 30mm.

Hi Mike. Thank you for replying. In Poland, the controls are mainly SIMENS FANUC HAIDENHAIN. Mazak Mazatrol is not very popular. I study alone . You are my techer.👍😊@@TheHEHGroup

my a ex Hurco guy, the parameter in 8 bit on the seam quirky for changing the cut direction in a pocket, a mean who gonna remenber the meaning of all of this parameter whit no nam on it, just a quirky seris of number
