@@PeachyPeytnI noticed you have already played most of the game on Twitch, but I can only find videos from Act 2 and onwards there. Will you be reposting the full journey here on TH-cam?
@@HoskTheCub yea I kind of got addicted 😂 and then behind on editing but yes most def putting the full series on here! Already just about done with the next episode. 😊
if the people in the stream comments told you to kill the Demon to win the objective, they lied to you. the game keeps telling you to reach the transponder. Would suggest not doing what the commenters say and listen to the story in the game. it has a large learning curve but it is worth it. don't let comments troll you in to things.
Yeah this game has been a HUGE learning curve for me but I quickly became addicted! Lol. Chats been trying their best not to tell me *anything* aside from the newer folks that come in but that part in particular was purely my fault. I didn’t pay attention and felt like such a silly goose after 😂
55:11 Wait, what? Did they change that line? Used to "You feel her gratitude, mixed with weariness - because you have a gith with you" (Or something very similar)
You can do one action (attack with a weapon, cast a spell, stuff like that), move up to your full movement (the blue ring around the "END TURN" button shows how much you have available), and one bonus action (usually drink potions, but some spells and classes give more options for that). Just because you can't move to melee range, doesn't mean you have to end that character's turn. If you have a ranged weapon (like the light crossbows you can find here on bodies of already dead), you can still shoot at enemies. As you get more powerful (gain levels), you will get the chance to do more stuff in combat.
You don´t have to kill/ not even to fight the demon commander in order to get his flaming sword anyway. Shadowheart just has to use her command spell (which is in her spellbook but not equipped yet and has to be equipped in the first place before entering the helm) in order to force him to drop his flaming sword at the right moment which then can be picked up from the floor for a round or two while passing by during heading to the transponder. = Easy Peasy and no effort. If you want to kill the Demon commander for getting his experience points which are huge 75 points you also need the flaming sword in the first place + dice luck. But you can increase your odds if you use those 3 purple vessels which are randomly laying around, by positioning them inbetween the demon commander + Mindflayer, then hit the demon commander till he is down to 35 points and go away a save distance and from far you can use Shadowheart´s flaming cantrip to blow those 3 vessels up that will then kill both, Demon commander + Mindflayer = will give you huge 150 experience points. Another thing which has to be done when trying to kill those 2 in order to get those 150 experience points is to barricade the entrance to the helm with at least 2 chests (which you have to pick up beforehand obviously = 2 chests are at the starting room where you wake up and 1 is in the room where that poor woman is transforming into a mindflayer) stapled one upon each other at the start of that short tube-way heading to the entrance of the helm before entering the helm (that position at the start of that short tube-way for the barricade is crucial in order to make the barricade work, strangely enough if you are positioning the barricade at the end of that short tube way direct at the entrance to the helm those demons will jump over which they don´t if the barricade is positioned at the start of that tube way) in order to prevent the 2 other demons which will appear after few rounds to enter the helm. According to see what going on during battle open the game protocol = the button at the right frame of the screen a bit down below, with a mouse over the text lines you can pop up a small window showing your dice rolls + opponent´s counter dice rolls listed in detail and therefore you will see why you missed a hit ..that will be very helpful to learn how the game mechanics actually work.
I'm ngl I just wasn't paying attention to the objective. LOL. i thought i had to fight my way through everything. It really is crazy just how many different ways you can proceed in any given scenario. I may have to try this next time around once I've finished this playthrough. I really appreciate the detailed explanation as well as the different ways to go about it!!
I love how this game appeals to both new people and the 25+ years of D&D grognards like me. You're like "oh, giant squid... right to the eyeball, argh" and I'm like "yeah, a Mindflayer, fuck yeah!".
yeah i have og community members who have played and explained to me making my own decisions really immerses you in the story more. i only use the integration on rare occasion now. I ask a lot of questions out loud and a lot of the time their response is "one way to find out" LOL
I've never been so profoundly frustrated, trying to cope with the painful disappointment i can't seem to escape from. Finding myself trapped at 4:23am , beging you to please just use your head before I lose my self to the shock of witnessing such a Devine loss of reason! It's a train wreck, but I can't look away as i'm slowly sliding from helplessness into the sweet release that only deaths release remains as my only hope to free me from your persistent display of pure folly...so🎉😂🎉... Congradulations! Maybe it might be easier for you if you try while you're eyes were closed? I know mine are.
It was really funny for your sword fighter to throw away her sword 😁 Still, listening to what you said about how you feel about animals, Druid might really have been the thing for you. Maybe in a second playthrough?
bro.... why does every girl that plays BG3 say "aint nobody wanna be a human" and then proceeds to pick an elf or a tiefling.... like a bit of originality please whamen!
i swear i'm at min 4 so i haven't seen which class you have chosen....i'm here for something different from the usual girly picks: druid, wizard, sorcerer, bard. Let's go monk, barbarian, figther and rogue!...now i keep watching and see if i'm lucky Edit: it's a druid....i pass
20:25 the opening sequence of this game pulls you in right away! loved your reaction to that!
*Throws Thunderwave* -"Ok that did nothing"
Meanwhile Shadowheart almost dead yeeted across half the room 😫
LMAO. Poor Shadowheart 😅

Complètement d'accord avec toi !
It is possible to kill him and you get a badass flame sword if you do but it's optional.

I was thinking the same thing. I assume they have a line in there for if Laezel isn't with you, but.. she is with you here. 🤔 Maybe it's a bug?

Balaned mode is a good choice, you get more options in your character build, allows multi-classing.
I wouldn't reccomend that for a new player anyways.

@PeachyPeytn you can handle the situations as you want. There's tons of ways of solving things.
Depending on choices you can even get extra options.

Just gonna advise you, DO NOT kill the drow lady in the goblin camp! Use non-lethal damage to knock her out. For reasons. Have fun!
A combat turn consists of: Movement, Action, Bonus action, Reaction, Concentration. Try to use each and not just stand around.
Lol, concentration is not a part of your turn. It's just a spell mechanic that means you can't use two concentration spells simultaneously.
