This video is all about CONTOUR.
I get asked questions about how to contour all the time so I wanted to share my personal tips.
Like I mention in this video, just like with all makeup, contouring is very personal as well as subjective.
So just a reminder contour is used to
Take away/ minimize certain areas of the face and is also one of the best tools for enhancing natural bone structure.

Lol I've been just putting bronzing powder willy-nilly on the sides of my face, forehead and chin without really knowing why I was doing it (because I saw all the beauty TH-camrs doing it so I wanted to do it too 🤷). You are so welcome! And contour shades should lean more on the Cool Side. So nothing to warm or orange.

Love all these tips and your channel! Question - I have combo skin (oily t-zone) but I love the look of a cream contour since it does look more natural. Do you suggest setting with a colored contour powder or translucent?

Hi Nikki, I have an issue I’d love your guidance on. On the bridge of my nose I have two small bumps that after applying foundation and powder become more apparent. Would applying a small or light amount of contour help to minimize their appearance? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 💖
Wow nikki thats absolutely amazing what you did. I'd assume you dont do bronzer too? That doesn't look like you need it. Thats totally gorg! Id rather do bronzer and blush, the cheek isnt big enough for all 3?!?. Great tutorial now I know what the placement is for! Im not so afraid to try it now!! Question- You wouldn’t use huda tantour as a bronzer?
And another one 😅- I always feel like when I apply cream contour/bronzer and then cream blush over it, I end up messing up the contour/bronzer. How do you handle this issue? 🧐
Yes and I actually do all the time! It’s a very thin line between bronzer shades and contour
Don’t over blend them. Try tapping your blush on top of the bronzer instead of blending the two into each other

Ugh I struggle with contour so much. I never like how it looks on me. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do contour that looks good and natural for daily and daytime makeup. I would like to learn for nighttime and more glam looks.
I either have no idea how to apply it, they're not my shades or I'm pretty happy with my face shape and don't see the point of contouring. Maybe I jusy don't want to define or change any of the planes of my face but I fear my makeup will look incomplete without it. I find using blush to emphasize certain parts of face easier, more natural and glowy.

What would you recommend for mature skin cream or powder contour
I prefer cream for mature skin but that doesn’t mean that powder is “wrong” I suggest just applying with a light hand

I was always told to 'follow the hollow' (of my cheeks but I find it doesn't work for me, I always go higher up, just under apple of my cheek

Hey Nikki, I don't know what it is , but the "s" is somehow waay too strong when you talk, so that It hurts my ears. I tried to listen to the video with and without airpods, lower the volume snd such but I think it's your 🎤. Is that just me?

Love this. Contouring always freaks me out. LOL I love the tip on bringing up the look of your cheekbone. I’ve tried that. 🤍
Only hard thing about contouring is we all have different face shapes so what works for you may not work for me. I have a round wider face. I feel like I get contour mixed up with bronzing. It almost looks the same. I know contouring should be in the hallows of your face but what I found if I put bronzer on top it looks muddy or dirty. So I have to go with a very careful hand. 🥲 Great tutorial! The guy talking in the background was distracting tho.
