We will never see Otto Apocalypse again. The story will move on, and return to following the story of the girls. But there will always be something missing, a hole in our hearts. Otto was one of the best characters I've ever seen in any form of modern writing. He was a villain, a hero, a monster. But most importantly, he was human. "One cannot be brought back to life. The world allows a mind to find another matching vessel, but does not allow a vessel to gather the pieces of a mind" Otto strove for nothing short of a miracle. He knew it was impossible. But he kept trying for 5 centuries. He knew that he was a monster. But he didn't care. Instead of giving up he created his own possibilities. All he wanted, for 500 years, was to know that in some world, Kallen had survived. He declared that he would destroy the world to see Kallen again. But in the end of it all, his life was the one he gave to bring her back. He sacrificed himself to give her another chance. He was completely selfless. And that is "the most selfish thing one can do" This is the end of Otto Apocalypse. May he be remembered forevermore.

Yae or Otto. Choices indeed. But Otto has won my heart. In fact, I always loved his character when we first saw glimpse of his motivations. He made the girls suffer. But for me, his radiance was simply so blinding that I just couldn't hate him. Probably because I love villain characters and that I'm really attracted to the idea of them having even that tiny shred of humanity that drives their unstoppable and selfish march. Now I just wish genshin's story was at least half as good because it seems so vague at the moment and the main story and 'villains' hadn't given me much emotional setback at all. In fact most of the good stuff is the side stories >_>
Honkai = emotional damage. Not the same for Genshin which tries to impress players with the improve of quality and design every new chapter/patch. Mihoyo won't allow 2 games with sad story settings at the same time, because that would make players too sad to play both games.
@@clementwg3477 well, genshin already has a very sad plot. we're talking about 3 humanity resets (the primordial one, his war against the second who came, the 3 moons cataclysm, ...) quite a few genocides (Sal terrae (havria's people), Sal vindagnyr (dragonspine), ...) and overall wars and deaths all around, slavery, human experiments, human farms, etc.... For instance, every archon we know has lost all their loved ones : - barbatos lost the nameless bard (from which he got inspired for his body) and amos during their rebellion against decarabian, his ideal being freedom, at a cost - morax lost guizhong, the only love he found in over 6000 years of existence, he made a contract with her to always protect the people of liyue - beelzebul (ei) lost literally all her friends : the kitsune saiguu, takamine the mistsplitter, sasayuri, chiyo (which she even had to fight), and then makoto, her soul twin. So she had to switch ideal from transience to eternity cause she don't want to loose anyone anymore Genshin's lore is deep and almost as dark/sad as honkai's, but it isn't exposed as much to not scare new players imo.

Only people who have 100% exploration, read all books in archive, and literally read every single line 10x in storys lmao, but believe me. It will be exposed soon. Haha, I'm not one of them to dig into the stories which are not transparent and obvious to see. So, on the surface it's still a bright sky, green grass, blue water. That's how most players enjoy the game now.
It's beautiful. I can feel his super super super long long long desperate wish that he has kept deep inside his heart for many years and finally able to realize it and it's all for someone else and not for him. And I can feel how much he missed Kallen too but also how much he feels guilty for what he had done to her
"All the rest will be torn up whenever a choice is made" that's deep and it represents his choice and his way of doing thing even if it is true cruelty but it gives his loved one a chance to live life to the fullest Ps: I hate him but now I respect his determination

Он разработал чёткий план по которому ему даже делать ничего не придётся, марионетки в лице главных героев сами принесут ему то что нужно. В итоге путём анализа себя и своих действий Отто понял, что он и не герой а настоящий злодей. Поэтому он сбросил с себя все маски и заявил человечеству что хочет изменить весь мир. После битвы, находясь между жизнью и смертью он попадает в мир мнимого дерева, что неожиданно было частью его плана. Там пробивается к дереву через свои грехи и ошибки своей жизни. Там же он понимает что мёртвого человека никогда уже не вернуть, поэтому ценой своей жизни он меняет не настоящее а прошлое создавая миллионы временных линий, где Каллен не умерла, но Отто Апокалипсиса никогда не существовало.
