Magnum is such an enigma/double edged sword, its like a similar situation to Mine Blower. The airtime is so bonkers but at the same time so is the roughness. I don't mind Arrow jenk but thats just Arrow pain right there.

Magnum is lifeee front row is actually the magic seat... everyone says row 3 but ive been on this thing thousands of times.Lapbar needs to be 1 click loose and seatbelt tight for most enjoyable ride.

i went to CP for my senior trip in May or June 1989. This coaster was all anyone talk about bc it was the first one to have a 200 foot drop (if I'm not mistaken)
Now it kinda looks like a kiddie coaster.

Kiddie coaster? It's still about half as tall as the tallest ones on Earth lmao. Not just that but it's definitely still the most violent one in the park despite not being anywhere near the tallest or fastest anymore. I was 8 years old in 09 when I went and it was and is the only rollercoaster in history I've hated for being too rough (I've loved it ever since my 2nd trip in 2012). Went back this year and it hasn't gotten any softer😂

Honestly looks can be deceiving, the first time I went when I was 8 it scared me and that never happened before or since on a rollercoaster. I ended up loving it when I was older but even Millennium Force, Mean Streak, and Top Thrill were no where near as mean as this fucked up ride imo😂

I always called this seat "the ejector seat." I believe car 6 row 1 or row 2 is "the magic seat." Much smoother and a bit less painful airtime.

So you did get a full POV of this ride from the station. I forgot what seat I had to sit on but it was the front or back but I don't remember where , where it wasn't as rough because my friend kept wanting to marathon this ride since it was the only coaster without a wait.
