I'm always very critical of high price tag, high end speakers, but with TAD, I actually tend to be more forgiving. They do everything right without needing to be have a massive space to sound great. 0.5 million is still insanely a high price tag, but smaller version do just as fine and cost a lot less.

I really want a TAD speaker as my next speaker. My budget right around $30,000 and I know that’s not very much but that’s just going to be for the speaker. The TAD Compact Evolution One is my next speaker! I didn’t know you guys did components until this video. Went to the audio files show and saw and listen to your speakers and left extremely impressed. Now I’m trying to figure out how to make this happen.

So cables have no sound unless they are damaged but ok. Honestly brands should stop this scam to consumers

Very very very expensive indeed… not sure if these sounded better than Magico, YG, Kharma, Wilson Benesch… certainly doesn’t offer the competitive designs either. I think these are tough sells.

I considered the TAD R1TX but for $110k LESS just purchased (after lengthy research and audition) the Magnepan 20.7Xs and two REL 32 subs. I now believe the hybrid system is the preferred way to go for many reasons and no matter what box enclosure a dynamic speakers has they all suffer from acoustic limitations regarding internal cancellations, in other words they can never breathe like a panel. That is if you are willing to sacrifice plenty of space and keeping in mind a decently powered amplifier (mono blocks better). Please remember that we are paying dearly for craftsmanship and high end furniture with luxurious finishes with box speakers as opposed to the more puritan panels that only require a well designed and built frame. I'll be willing to say that in the case of these TADs approx 55% of the labor costs goes to the carpenters and painters. Same for Wilsons, Magico, Sonus Faber etc. Please do your research to maximize your greatest listening pleasure without caving into the hype surrounding conventional high end speakers.

Wrong. Maggie’s are high distortion loudspeaker massive diaphragm flexing and out of phase non linear response bad news. I’ve owned 20.7’s 3.6R’s 3A’s I’ve compared directly so I know what the facts are. They’re fragile too. Buzz n fuzz mostly midrange and to image you have to sit precisely in the sweet spot can’t be off center

This is the joke, everyone that tries to sell there absolutely ridiculous priced electronics thinks that saying there built by hand is going to make me say wow really O that’s definitely going to make me shell out 500 grand, give me a break materials and manufacturing no way add up to these prices, these prices are for rich uneducated people with FU money, and there are manufacturers and salesmen willing to take advantage of those people,I’m not saying there not well built, I’m saying there are many other companies that build for far less expensive products that will give the same sound and pleasure that TAD brings, there isn’t enough space to list them all

TAD is by no means inexpensive, but the brand has been delivering solid engineering and top-rated products for decades. Try to find any demos in your area.

@@ecoustics I don’t think you know what your talking about I’ll give you one example,TAD Cr1tx 54,000.00 for basically a large book shelf speaker on stands and don’t get me started on there reference speaker that may not be expensive by your standards but for the majority of people in this world 🌎 it is,and there are many other great engineering out there that don’t rip there buyers off I have two degrees in engineering mechanical and electrical from NYU and I’m quite aware of engineering and manufacturing of a product and also cost consideration
