I can remember when rear deck speakers could be installed from below the rear deck and were the easiest part of a audio upgrade. Now they are just as hard as the front speakers or door speakers.

I find applying sound deadening material immensely satisfying, it's the way you can immediately tell the difference when you knock on a panel. When I did my doors I had to cut a hole in the inner door metal so the speakers had space to breathe and then deaden the outer skin.
I tore up my hands doin it but the sound was massively improved and the doors now sound like thick wood when you knock on them, it was worth the effort and many cuts.

Man this helped me alot with removing my back seats and panels. I hit a brick wall once I found out I can't replace my JBL rear deck speakers due to the harness that comes with them and it doesn't seem to fit anything else. If it wasn't for that, I would've been able to change all of my speakers smh but you're awesome man

Thank you. good vdo, i end up using the old bracket and tie it with zip tile. It is good enough. Also, you don't need harness adapter, cost too much. Use the flux and unsolder it and solder it back. Make sure the positive and negative are the same connection when soldering. Easy

lol @ your outro noise. Your videos are great man. Keep on putting out quality content like this and you will be golden. Things I noticed are your camera angles are awesome. You don't just have one point of view, you have multiple cameras running so you can take the best shot you have while editing; this is very helpful for people who are trying to learn what you are teaching. You also have a natural ability to keep the video entertaining which makes people like me who already know a bit about car audio more likely to watch one of your videos "just because" and also makes the people who are getting into car audio get excited about it and have a good time. You got yourself a new subscriber. Keep it high and tight :)

Funny you uploaded this video today. I just got a 2002 Accord about 2 hours ago and I have to do something like this but much easier. I have to take my Infinity 6x9s out of my 2001 Accord and install them into my 2002 Accord. I'm just concerned about the damn wire clips on the factory 6x9s. I'm probably going to have to wait till I get to work to use a solder iron and go to the cable department and to get some wire butts. Also change out the deck and the front speakers. Glad it will be just plug and play since they are basically the same car. I'm going from a DX manual with roll up windows to a SE Special Edition. No more rolling up windows on the freeway when it starts raining lol :D

you got me interested in car audio again. Use to have a nice system basic sort of but it was loud 2 12" alpine Type Rs i think 4 ohm but i could be wrong everything was aftermarket. Kicker Interiors and tweeters, kenwood amps one for subs one for interiors, I think it was a 250w and a 1200 W rms, pioneer radio. Il tell ya ive heard lots of subs and the alpines type rs i had were some of the better sounding ones ive seen. This was so long ago that i had Ciurcit City install my interiors and radio they havent been around for awhile. They did a excellent job though would have done it myself but there wasn't vids like this on youtube at the time.

@@elsey1976 it doesn't have rca I used the amps high level input. Most line converters have isolation transformers in them and that should take care of the noise issue.

Lol why? if you were inclined enough to be making your own out of wood you could figure all of it out on your own, could you not?

78kasper78 I meant 6x9 speaker rings and if u noticed they’re not round. They’re more difficult to make and there’s no video on TH-cam about making them. I’m tryna fiberglass my rear deck and door panels.

Does it even even matter if the rear deck is upgraded if you have super loud woofers in the trunk?
