I suspected what was going on early in the program, but thought, surely they're not going to tackle a topic like that on a radio program. Pretty progressive for the time.
Ben’s best line… in The Big Bomb, Friday makes a mad dash to throw the bomb out the building trips falls, and throws it… Ben closes the show with “clumsy “ 😅
This is a remarkable episode, showing understanding of a woman’s plight AND a kind outcome!
Thanks for posting these programs they are Great
Later adapted for television {February 23, 1953}.
OK who is cutting onions in here, your sneaky bastard.
wow! honesty, forgiveness, reconciliation, great message. You both made mistakes so move on and don't pass it down to the next generation.

Jack Webb is A Savage!!!
In this episode, he savagely convinced a man to stay with his unfaithful wife
Pronounced too-SONN. Like tar-ZAN.
I read somewhere that Webb got a lot of flack for this show, such as how DARE you show sympathy to a woman like that and so on.
Ed Jacobs was Friday’s best partner. No idiotic lines that spewed from Romero and Smith.
He's OK but I prefer Ben Romero 😔
Barton Yarborough is my favorite. Died too soon. Really liked him in I Love a Mystery too.
You make a good point, he’s stable and reliable, but doesn’t have quite the same “radio character” Ben Romero had.
