I have driven through this expressway n travelled from Bawal to Honda cars Greater Noida, distance is 150km (travelling time - 2hrs.) one way whereas it is 125kms (travelling time -3.5hrs) thru Delhi route. But expressway saves 1.5 hrs one way. So preferrable route for comfortable ride n time saving. Yes road surface of expressway is bumpy.
Bhai we Indian don't deserve such express way... We always blame government but we don't care about our responsibility... Solar panels, 108 ton of iron side railbars stolen etc Like remember when people stone LCD from tajes express and made it as dirty as any passenger train We don't deserve it

If the express way was nearer to delhi then it would have become inner ring road from outer ring road in few years, i. e the city would have outgrown it soon. This has already happened in Bangalore.

Correct Sir, is Expressway ko really long banaya gaya hai. . But uski wajah ye hai, ki koi bhi is type ka big project banta hai to uski planning 50 se 100 saal future tak ke liye plan kiya jaata hai. I mean, aane wale 50 saalo me agar Delhi ke aas-paas ka area agar badh bhi jaaye to us Expressway pe waha ki local aabadi & waha ki local traffic ka load na pade. Isliye aksar Ring Road ko city area ke kaafi door se banaane ki koshish ki jaati hai..

भय्या मेरा opinion ये रहेगा की India की infrastructures ओर भी बेहतर किया जा सकता था। जेसे की road की उपरि परत में अगर fine bitumin का layer डिया जाता तो बेहतर होता, road में अच्छी तरीके से marking होना चाहिए और उनको अच्छी तरीके से maintain भी करना चाहिए 🙏

Concrete has its own disadvantages. Apart from its longevity there are no plus points. More fiction means more tyre noise and faster tyre wear out. The vehicles would also consume more fuel. Ideally, they could put a layer of rubber on these roads, which I understand is at a trial stage.
Bypass and rings roads toh lambe honge he because woh poora area cover karte hain. Delhi k traffic main time and fuel jo kharach woh lag bhag wahi baat pahunch jayegi... jo mujhe lagta hai! Baaki jo ban gya woh hai abb! Hope for the best.
This EPE is mainly developed for Commercial vehicles which pass vis delhi.. All that major traffic of trucks etc has been diverted towards EPE. One can't enter delhi through borders.. When WPE will be inaugurated remaining commercial traffic will be diverted towards it.. Its not that Truck driver ka mann kra to delhi se truck le jao.. Entry is banned..
It will take some time to make use of it. In Hyderabad we have outer ring road which is very long and with tolls. Many years it was empty. But now a days, it's busy.... So people will make use of it in some days...
I've been there yesterday from kundli to faridabad by ghaziabad, road is excellent,no traffic issue ,very effective , driver can also manage his car's milage by driving constantly, i had just put my car in the car and forgot clutch and brake . Awesome experience it was and one more important thing is that there was no speed limitations i drove at 170 kmph but i didn't have to face any traffic chlaan.

Few Points Gagan - 1) EPE & WPE were first proposed in 2013 but EPE couldn't even started till 2015, and WPE was scrapped due to non progress of project and revived in 2016. 2) Projects were planned primarily for commercial and heavy trafic keeping Delhi's pollution and traffic in mind so it was bound to be bit away from delhi. 3) Non Delhi bound Heavy traffic will be forced to take WPE and EPE slowly infact on Day one of starting EPE 50000 trucks were diverted onto it there were 50k fewer trucks in delhi. 4) It's a concrete road u can't expect smoothness of bitumen road. Life of these roads are many times more than bitumen roads. Way Less maintenance required compared to bitumen roads. 5) Govt can create infra but can't change people, theft and destruction shows people of India (not all but many) don't deserve good things.
Also it won't link to Yamuna Expressway, this will gateway onto Delhi-Meerut expressway, and a separate gateway will link on to that from Yamuna Expressway.

Really a very nice expressway but the concrete roads are a small trouble when driving during summer days because there is a chance of bursting type and another is the noise. But a really very very nice expressway.......👌👌

Like you mentioned , stealing the solar panels of all things & worst of all driving on the wrong side of the road....ON A BLOODY EXPRESSWAY. One thing is for certain, change is not going to come easy, especially with such attitude issues & arrogance. Anyway, keep up the good work. I am from Mumbai and plan to do a 3500 km Rajasthan road trip in dec-jan this year right from Longewala in the west to Sawai Madhopur & Kota in the east. I've travelled through dharuhera(Haryana) while coming from Jaipur to palwal (haryana) it's been ausum road made by HDA (Haryana development Authority) till palwal and if anyone wants to travel to faridabad so it's a good way to go as it's smooth and the amount of traffic of Gurgaon is less and toll is Rs 70 till palwal.

People's thinking is greater than infrastructure. Infrastructure is a must for diversity in people's thinking. So let the infrastructures built for people service either people use it with benefits or disadvantageous way, let people decide, let government decide, let the police and other administration decide. But going the money in infrastructure is better than leaders belly. Definitely people will change with time.

We will eventually get all the latest technology in infrastructure but what about people's attitudes & mentality ? Like you mentioned , stealing the solar panels of all things & worst of all driving on the wrong side of the road....ON A BLOODY EXPRESSWAY. One thing is for certain, change is not going to come easy, especially with such attitude issues & arrogance.
Anyway, keep up the good work. I am from Mumbai and plan to do a 3500 km Rajasthan road trip in dec-jan this year right from Longewala in the west to Sawai Madhopur & Kota in the east. Hoping for a few tips from you as the date approaches. Will get in touch with you then. Thanks !

I've travelled through dharuhera(Haryana) while coming from Jaipur to palwal (haryana) it's been ausum road made by HDA (Haryana development Authority) till palwal and if anyone wants to travel to faridabad so it's a good way to go as it's smooth and the amount of traffic of Gurgaon is less and toll is Rs 70 till palwal.

So let the infrastructures built for people service either people use it with benefits or disadvantageous way, let people decide, let government decide, let the police and other administration decide.
But going the money in infrastructure is better than leaders belly.

As u pointed out...It should have been connected to Yamuna Expressway...It looks like a missed oppurtunity. Travel from Faridabad to cities like Aligarh would have become a breeze...Govt. should think about this. This is nuts.
