thank you sm for the video it was so easy to follow!
I made a bigger and slightly different bag and im super happy with it so im posting in case anyone else wants to do the same
I used 1 ball of yarn and a 5mm crochet hook for reference
    main body
chain 66, then chain the extra 3 and dc into 6th stich
then chain 2 and dc all the way around like in the video( you should end up with 48 squares in the first row in total
do this for 23 more rows)
then sc all the way around but only do 1 sc in the gap and one in the top of the dc from the previous row(so you do 96 sc in total), repeat for 3 more rows
(so in total you've got 24 rows of squares and 4 rows of sc)
    handles
count 5 full squares from the edge (it'll actually be about 5.5 because of the edge square) and then sc in the next 6 stiches and then repeat so you've got 97 rows of 6 and attach the other end
then do it again for the second handle
I used acrylic yarn so it was quite stretchy, I recommend testing how yours looks with weight in it because my handles stretched a lot so I made it to look how I wanted with the stretched handles. others might stretch more or less so I'd recommend just testing as you go a bit to see how it'll look
hope this made sense and was helpful

I kept the same amount of stitches as you, but made the bag a little bit taller so that when she harvests stuff more can fit inside. I also used a chunkier yarn so it has a different look but still looks wonderful. I was able to finish making it in about 2 hours and I’m so in love with the look of it! She’s going to love it and now I definitely have to make one for myself :D thank you so much for the tutorial!

Not with that attitude :) just start simple, don't try to make anything complicated right out of the gate... Take some time practicing chaining then move to stitching. Then find a simple single crochet project... Then just practice more and more stitches

U can do it!!! If u struggle with stitches I recommend goodknitkisses. She really helped me and that’s how I learned. Now I’m making things like hats and bag! I believe in u ❤😊

unfortunately, my yarn is too thin so i had to start over midway to make the bag bigger (by doing 90 chains.) but this is really beginner friendly like i've actually never crocheted before in my life
    anyway tysm

One I turned into a crossbody bag and another one I made it really small for it to be a phone bag. All my family and friends love it! I’ve also tried it bucket hat and it looked sooo good. I wear it everywhere I go! Thanks so much ❤❤
