Understanding Panel 2 above the map (the Black Pin panel) in the PhotoPills’ Planner is super important because this panel gives you information on how high or low the centre of the Moon, Sun or Milky Way will be above your subject.
Therefore, if you wish to plan a big Moon or a big Sun aligned with your subject, you must master this panel.

I love this app for a variety of photographic purposes: Landscape (knowing where the lighting will come from at specific times), seascapes (rising and setting sun / moon) in addition to all the ways Rapha and friends explain in these videos. Hey! No, there is not at the moment!
Can you create reminders or calendar events from PhotoPills plans?
Hey! when on the planner you can tap on More (bottom right) > Action > Add to Calendar to create a reminder :)

If the black pin area is surrounded by mountains, when picking the red pin in the app, will it show if there is a mountain blocking the area? Or we have to explore the area by ourselves.
