Canadian P39 Battledress Review

This video will be on the Canadian pattern 39 model of battledress in general but will also serve as a review for the top pots reproduction of the Canadian model of battledress. This video will also compare the p39 and p49 models of battledress. Overall I’m impressed with quality of the reproduction I just wish that they took the 10 minutes of research it would have taken to fix the loads of small stuff they got wrong. The biggest problem with the reproduction is all the buttons are wrong. The actual Canadian battledress used aluminum studded buttons and the top pots repro used brass shush type buttons. The ankle gathering straps at the bottom are wrong in that there is only 1 instead of 2 adjustment straps and the buttons to gather the frantic are to close to the fully open position. The button on the field dressing pouch is also missing. All of these are easy fixes and the major thing is just replacing and adding buttons.
