I have contact with my Koi fish but would never lift it out of the water. I also find nets are unneeded. They will gladly swim into a container if it is calm and trusting environment.

Ya you see that pencil? It's a rare pencil. Never seen one quite like it. Its a #2, and has 6 sides to it. The orangeish color of it is definitely what people are looking for here. Around the edges of its eraser, you can see where the use has been next to none. Which if you look back to the pencils history, it's very rare to see so little wear on its edges at that age. It's priceless really and I'm going to make a video soon about it....

Usually a Sanke like this with a Tancho mark on the forehead is beautiful. Did you say in the beginning that she is doitsu..? The most important part of keeping brilliant blood red, ink black and pure white is cold water. And never feed a koi if the water temperature is below 65* . You can kill a koi feeding them during cold water months. They cannot metabolize food when water temps are below 65* and it will not digest and become toxic. Spirulina in the food is a great way to boost colors.
I really love the doitsu (leather fish) .Koi lay up to 200 eggs at once. and the male follows closely behind and sprays the water with sperm. Koi live up to 200 years and grow up to 5' long.
They are carp with a variance of color.
that fish is huge....but not as huge as the one which i saw near my home....its like extra 1/2 larger than that...even the net is specially made to scoop it up....the owner is a koi breeder, even my uncle who lived 8 hours away from me drove down here and buy koi from him. Many people asked the breeder if he sells that he said its priceless and not selling it. same colour with this one :)

I keep coming back to this video for reference to see quality at a certain price. Have you talked to Shawn about this fish and what it would fetch in today’s market? Would it be worth less because quality in koi has improved, or more since koi are breaking record numbers in value topping one million dollars 💵 for one fish?

I was upset cause when i got the filter and uv pumps running last weekend my $40 blue shusui got himself stuck un the skimmer box and went belly up, I cant imagine my stress levels with a fish like that one.
Doug C If you could even begin to think about realistically buying a fish of such a high value, if it died you would most likely not sweat too much. And the chances of it dying would be rare, cause if you had 60K for a koi, you probably spend loads on every bell and whistle imaginable for your pond. Including a Daily delivery Via Helicopter of rainwater direct from Japan.

Ya you see that pencil? It's a rare pencil. Never seen one quite like it. Its a #2, and has 6 sides to it. The orangeish color of it is definitely what people are looking for here. Around the edges of its eraser, you can see where the use has been next to none. Which if you look back to the pencils history, it's very rare to see so little wear on its edges at that age. It's priceless really and I'm going to make a video soon about it....
