Suzuki Hayabusa lump, uprated internals, turbo is from a 1980's Benetton F1 car if I remember right. Drive is to the rear wheels via a propshaft mated to the final drive sprocket, and then to (I think) a roughly 4:1 diff. I think this is correct, as it has been a long long time since I saw this and its sister car in the flesh (I went out in the other one that Dax built......holy shit!!). In this video, Duncan appears to be very light on the throttle. Power is anywhere between 400 and 530bhp. I do remember Duncan saying many years ago that he wound the boost up a little too far (over 550bhp), and he lunched the engine.....something went badly wrong at the big-end, and the engine internals said hello to the daylight outside!
there is a couple of companies that make reverse gearboxes (basically another two speed transimission in the car, where one of them goes in reverse and the other straight through). the other option is to put the car in neutral and push.
That is a truly epic little car. It sounds like a swarm of incredibly angry bees and goes as quick as me running away from same swarm.

may I ask about gear box? How to R speed transmission gearbox for car packing return?
