I follow him since 2017 and believe me the "chin drop" comes with every new song as you never knew what to expect next. He sings everything from opera, pop, rock, traditional even rap - usually a couple combined in one song and there is always something new and unexpected. 7 octaves range, perfect pitch, songs in 13 languages, multi-instrumentalist, composer and unbelievable humble young man all wrapped into one, single-handedly overwhelming what is possible for one human voice - that's Dimash. And nothing of it is over-exaggerated.

Everything from classical,opera, pop, folk, jazz,and even rap. I’ve been listening to him for over five years and he just keeps getting better and better over time. Back in 2019 he had his first solo concert in New York City at the Barclay Center, were fans from over 60 countries packed the center. He had asked b4 agreeing to take part, that he would not sing up against children - they obviously lied. In the semi final he performed his song, thus fulfilling his obligation, and then resigned. Like you said, I don't care if I understand what he's singing, which I do a lot because he sings in 13 languages, the latest being Japanese, and a Spanish song coming out soon. It is enough to listen and watch it. Dimash is mesmerizing, making you follow his every move on stage and every sound he makes. Welcome to Dimash. Tip of the iceberg. People are not lying about him. He sings in many languages including English and does a wide range of genres. Simply put, he has never allowed himself to be put into any box. You may hear opera, you may hear pop, you may hear a rock type song, rap, or a combination and like most people, you will find yourself not caring what the lyrics are. SOS is the song that introduced Dimash to the world and opened many great opportunities and collaborations for him. Almost 6 years ago. i was just as shocked hearing him sing SOS a song favorite of mine performed in French. I first heard SOS about 30 something years ago and fell in love with this song, listen to many perform the song but first hearing Dimash perform it was a stunning moment for me, as he took it to a whole different level and the nerves in my body caused all sorts of reactions for me, I have been an avid fan since that day and listen to him daily, addicted, you better believe it; and happy about it. You will find many "dears" that feel the same and have similar experiences to mine; we are all a very large worldwide family.
Dimash is considered the top vocalist of our generation. He is setting a new higher standard by pushing the limits of what a voice can do. He's been working non-stop at his craft since he was 5 years old. Welcome to the world of Dimash. I think this is called Neo classical, but believe me, he can sing absolutely anything. I am 64 and old enough to be exposed to so many changes in the music world - when I was 5 The Beatles exploded onto the world stage and changed everything. In recent years my great musical loves have been Bruce and The E Street, but my musical tastes cover just about everything from Sinatra to Pavarotti and so much in between. I thought I had heard the best - nup. I knew what music sounded like and what it felt like but now, because of Dimash, I know what it looks like. He has forever changed the way I listen to music, to singing. Keep exploring because you ain't seen [or heard] nothing yet. Back in 2019 he had his first solo concert in New York City at the Barclay Center, were fans from over 60 countries packed the center. INVITED to take part in a Chinese competition called The Singer (2019) by the organisers. A competition between well established proffessional singers. The audience, all involved in music in some way, were the judges. This was back when he was 18/19yrs old. The youngest participant. The Chinese pple loved him soo much they spread the word around the world, and now he has a huge following literally across the world. The initial digital concert he put on, was just after covid hitting us all. Her had to cancel a tour of concerts - hence his original digital concerts.
Not only is he the astounding singer performer u heard, but also a very humble young man so appreciative of life itself - his parents grand parents, dears ( his fans), his teachers etc.
At age 3 his family were told he was pitch perfect. Started public performances singing playing piano and other instruments at age 5. Sings in 15 languages speaks at least 4. Plays 7 instruments. This year 2022 he attained his Doctorate of Music, Born in Kazakhstan. He particpated in The Worlds Singer best too, but withdrew because he would have been competing against children. He had asked b4 agreeing to take part, that he would not sing up against children - they obviously lied. In the semi final he performed his song, thus fulfilling his obligation, and then resigned. A man of integrity and honour. I am sooo glad I came across him a few years ago.

Welcome to Dimash. Tip of the iceberg. People are not lying about him. He sings in many languages including English and does a wide range of genres. Simply put, he has never allowed himself to be put into any box. You may hear opera, you may hear pop, you may hear a rock type song, rap, or a combination and like most people, you will find yourself not caring what the lyrics are. One of his best is Sinful Passion which he performed in Russia back in 2018. It has subs. He is now 28 years old and only getting better and better which is amazing. He literally has fans all over the world and will be doing a big concert in his home country of Kazakhstan next week in the city of Almaty. It has been noted that foreigners to the country have taken up all the hotels etc. Like when he did a sold out concert in New York at the Barclays in 2019, people flew in from all over the world. I only had to fly from Texas. The concert was incredible. Buckle up, you are on for one heck of a ride.
Sometimes the lyrics are a very important part of the song and its message. I personally would recommend finding the lyrics online and reading them before watching a video (maybe even checking into the backstory of the song) but of course, everyone has their own way to react.

It's from a rock opera called Starmania and has become Dimash's signature song. He doesn't have a genre. He sings anything from Opera to Rap but only songs that interest him.
Being an independent artist with his own production company gives him the freedom to compose and record what he wants and not what a recording company tells him to do although that comes with the downside of not getting the PR or recognition that comes with selling your soul for fame and fortune.
I'd suggest Sinful Passion as your next jump down the Dimash rabbit hole. A lot of people will recommend Stranger but that often gets blocked by Yoola.

Dimash has lots of songs in a big variety. From pop to folk, chanson and classic. Each one is so different from the next, its astonishing. Some i find better than others but there is no disappointment.
Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin), plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in musicology. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. His mother is an opera singer and his father is a singer and producer. Almost 6 years ago. i was just as shocked hearing him sing SOS a song favorite of mine performed in French. I first heard SOS about 30 something years ago and fell in love with this song, listen to many perform the song but first hearing Dimash perform it was a stunning moment for me, as he took it to a whole different level and the nerves in my body caused all sorts of reactions for me, I have been an avid fan since that day and listen to him daily, addicted, you better believe it; and happy about it. You will find many "dears" that feel the same and have similar experiences to mine; we are all a very large worldwide family.

Dimash is considered the top vocalist of our generation. He is setting a new higher standard by pushing the limits of what a voice can do. He's been working non-stop at his craft since he was 5 years old. This does not only include his singing and his range, but also the performance level, emotional connection to the audience, different genres of song, different languages, and even dancing. Remember from here forward Dimash is not only the maestro voice in this popopera number but he is everything. He hired 400 people to put on this 2021 (through Covid) digital concert. Dimash is an independent artist with a Russian billionaire producer composer that he collabs with and there are a few others that he collabs with including contest producer that he has collabed with or did it all himself. I’m not going to tell you all that he does but he’s 28 now in 2022. But I only said this little bit because it’s his voice that. Was on display here. Dimash of is the voice but he’s so much more colossally in that 6’3” frame you see there. Dimash was confident to stand in the middle of the floor under the lights and timing his body with words of the song meeting every digital effect that came through the whole song. And, he makes himself vulnerable at the end falling to the floor on his knees making himself small to complete the song reaching from rock belts reach up to s metso soprano notes and ending in quiets whispered notes as his hand plays him off with the piano and his hand moves to stop on that barely heard high hat from the drums. Even his clothes are his choice too most of the time being a high fashion model appearing in mens health magazine and Vogue. Welcome to the world of Dimash. I think this is called Neo classical, but believe me, he can sing absolutely anything. I am 64 and old enough to be exposed to so many changes in the music world - when I was 5 The Beatles exploded onto the world stage and changed everything. In recent years my great musical loves have been Bruce and The E Street, but my musical tastes cover just about everything from Sinatra to Pavarotti and so much in between. I thought I had heard the best - nup. I knew what music sounded like and what it felt like but now, because of Dimash, I know what it looks like. He has forever changed the way I listen to music, to singing. Keep exploring because you ain't seen [or heard] nothing yet. He sings over 8 octaves and plays 7 musical instruments, sings in I believe it is now 15 languages [bear in mind he is fluent in 2 - his native tongue of Kazakh and also Russian, and speaks Mandarin and English reasonably well], but the absolute kicker is he is pitch perfect no matter what register, octave - he is a gift to us all. And please - help spread the word. The reason that Di does not have 1 billion views on YT...or does not have 200 million followers on YT or Instagram is because he refused to sign with a label - he retains full artistic control over everything he does. But he should have 1 billion views and he should have 200 million followers and with the help of his beloved Dears and the help of great reactors [ yourselves included] he is being heard more and more. SOS from Singer 2017 was his calling card - this lifted him to the stratosphere. .He was singing in French here, he doesn't speak it or understand it When he first broke through he was 22 years old - he is now 28.
