Boats Cheaper than an Auction?

Boat auctions can be a great option to find great deals on boats but finding a neglected boat while it is still at the marina might be cheaper still. I tour around the marina looking at a couple of good looking sailboats boats before stumbling across a couple of neglected Hans Christian sailboats. These boats have an outstanding reputation. I point out what to look for in potentially sleuthing out the boat owner.
This is a potential way of getting a boat for super cheap and beating out potential buyers at a boat auction.
