@Jerry Jerome Yes they are the ME-003 Meachow mirrors and they are solid. Trust me I have no problem changing noisy or flimsy items I've placed on my Scooters. I hate noises even with my car.
I must've gotten a solid pair. That's the way it is with those cheap Amazon products. I've thrown my fair share away.

Yessss... I keep the seat on the Dualtron X1 and Ride the Dualtron X2 without (as a Sportier look)
I just bought an used Unagi E500 and I don't really regret it because it's my first scooter but when I saw the DualTron X2 I have to admit I was like waoo, absolutely fell in love with the scooter. Love the frame and especially the front stem where the handle bars are. I don't know the official name for it though, anyway they look strong asf compared to the other scooters that are thin. And I have seen a lot of reviews and I have to say to me personally that is the best looking scooter out in market. I'm so going to save for one and thankfully I'm in New Jersey close to New York and I've seen they have a few stores which sell DualTron scooters. Love your video, motivates me even more into working hard to purchase one. Just subscribed, liked and smashed that bell notifications. Keep up the awesome work, I really appreciated this video. ✌

ok let me just say this scooter is an absolute blast! i am completely in love from the very first moment i saw the man with the forklift bringing me my box autographed by the legend Cooper from minimotorsusa. unboxing was a bitch. but i lived through the pain which was your unboxing so i knew what to expect. lol i rode it out of the box for about 15 mins and it was great. then charged it completely and of course... then comes the rain and snow. well today the skies cleared, the roads dried. and i took my first real zip on this BEAST! It is everything I hoped it was and more. I will say as expected for big guys like us our top speed is not nearly not even close what is claimed by the manufacturer... but honestly if you need to go faster than 49... i guess rion is the way to go... but all things considered, this is a perfect every day / night riding scooter. it doesnt need a single mod but i am sure the mods that you could do to it are endless... and you have an amazing start. im jealous. well i guess im just rambling now.. let me know in 2021 when you are ready to meet up for a PEV ride. i look forward to more videos from the channel ohmandan. cheers wipp

The only thing I would use the seat for is waiting at a red light lol. High speed cornering the seat looks very dangerous.
I actually use the Dualtron X Seat to attract dialogue. People find it very intriguing and ask all sorts of questions and I love talking to potential new buyers about Micro Mobility PEV use, function and characteristics.

I'm so glad to have subscribed to your channel, sir! watching your vids really got me inspired to go for the Dualtron X-2 Up. I did a test ride today and I just love it! I was contemplating on either Yume OHvation, Kaabo W GT and Currus Panther. I'll be getting my X-2 Up anytime next month. Will get mine with the seat and FP scanner. I'll probably have the finger throttle upgraded to the thumb throttle instead since finger throttles are never my thing. Again thank you, sir for your reviews etc.

I have one of those small cellphone charger Packs that last a couple days.
You might like the Ergon GP3 grips, they give you more surface area for comfort plus the added bars for more control.

This is perhaps... the MOST balanced and stable eScooter you'd ever ride at ANY speed.
It is the most comfortable and assuring eScooter you will ever encounter.

It is NEVER safe to take one hand off the bars while Riding ANY eScooter.

Though I have the seat on my DTX 1... I never sit on it. I initially put the seat on it because it got a lot of attention and raised opportunities for dialogue
People just loved the look of the Scooter with the seat on it.
I am 6'1" (240lbs) and my DTX 1 or DTX 2 was not too short to ride. Also riding with the seat did not cramp me at all. I wear a size 14 shoe and had room to place my feet in my normal left (forward) right (back) position.
You have a chain to lock it up by the seat. How do you "Chain" up the Dualtron X specifically w/wo seat??THX

I don't lock the DTX up by the seat. I just store the Kryptonite Chain Lock around the seat until I need to lock it. I lock it around the neck and headset to secure location
What do you think about the seat? I need to get a phone holder for sure first thing
Contrary to its look and to my surprise... the Seat is definitely a KEEPER. It is the most comfortable seat you will ever sit on and it is the ONLY eScooter seat that MOST people (everyone that looks upon it) LOVE!!
Though I hardly sit on it when I ride and I did think it would crowd me, I found many benefits:
• Helped me maintain
my standing posture.
• Gave me something
to rest on at lights.
• Adds STYLE to the
Scooter.
• Allowed me to add
Storage and my rear
view Camera.
I really came to love it a lot and now since I have two DTX eScooters, (though I also have a seat for it as well) I leave the seat off of the DTX 1 and use it as my weightless, Sportier DTX.

@@theScHteaK it is so beneficial. I hardly use my mirrors because I have a LIVE... up CLOSE and detailed VIEW of every vehicle or person behind me.

ONLY if absolutely necessary. RION Components are the ONLY Components that I believe could resurrect ANY Scooter when it's DEAD.
Outside of any problems... No, I would never mod an X1 or X2 with RION Components (any Components) the DTX1 and 2 are both just so well made, and is reliably responsive, performs very well and is the most comfortable, safe and relaxing eScooter I've ever ridden and I have ridden ALL the Power Scooters out there.

The range on any eScooter is predicated upon several factors (Climate, Rider's Weight, Road Conditions, "P" Settings and Battery Charge) any of these can reduce the manufacturer's suggested performance outcomes. I am 6'1", 240lbs, and typically lose 10mph and about 6-10 miles on minimum Range samples (that's about 1.5 to 2hrs per charge) for me.
All manufacturer's suggested performance outcomes are around (test subjects) Rider's weighing 165lbs.
Also, I was able to get the X2 up to 58mph top speed.

It's all relative my friend to whom the person is and their financial position in life. To some that is the cost of a brand new car, to others that may be the price of a very used car and to the rest they may never buy a car for so low.
Everyone is different, with different taste, different abilities and different bottom lines.
We can't judge a person (up or down) based upon other people, or ourselves. Everyone is different and shouldn't be pooled with another person's class because their class is not equal (up or down).

Is the seat the same for the X and X2? Also, where did you get the seat? Also, what was the problem with the suspension on the X?
Hey @Unsane... yes they Seat for the "X" is the same for the DTX 1 and DTX 2.
The rear bushing in the spring shock of the DTX 1 would wear out very quickly... compromising the integrity of the rear suspension, so they remedied that issue in the DTX 2 by using metal bushing in its place.

No key, you'd have to buy a fingerprint reader and install.
Or buy it from where I bought from (MiniMotorsUSA.com) and have John or Cooper install it for you. And it will be delivered with the reader already attached.

What I did was drill holes in the back of the (seat) rack to secure the Milan X5 Brake where you see it there, using the included brackets.

Just don't make the holes too big... you want a more perfect hole diameter to the screws, (with lock nuts) to insure a firm, tight attachment.

This Scooter is street legal Buddy. As a matter of fact I Ride with a Police Officer who owns one as well.

With any Motorcycle, or even a used car... you cannot Ride Off Road, like Paths, Trails or Bicycle Lanes. Anyone who Rides an Electric Scooter for the first time (especially The Dualtron X Brand) will NEVER forget it and will be hooked on Electric Scooters for life. It is such a different experience than Riding a Motorcycle (I rode Motorcycles for 25yrs) and I actually thought since I rode Motorcycles for so long that I would automatically be able to Ride this thing.
Well some of that is true but for the most part, they are so different, with very different balance and handling that there is an obvious learning curve. Now of course, the learning curve may be shorter because of pre- two wheeled experience but the eScooter will have to be Respected regardless.
You will definitely become addicted if you Rode Motorcycles in the past and get on an Electric Scooter for the first time for a real Ride...

Hey @Blacksmoke FPV... they all serve a purpose. One is for my Garmin rearview camera. the other is for my Ulyssess Speedometer and the last is my actual Garmin Navigation System. I actually love having them all.
