I love you Dr Taylor! Please interview Marie Clair Haver or Lisa Mosconi or Felice Gersh. I think y’all should have a roundtable discussion of menopause!
Dr. T, I know this is a serious topic & I appreciate your education, but I just LOVE your adorable earrings & how they match glam up your tee. Always the fashion icon! 😊
Present and ready to learn! It's the one cancer that the women's hospital in my city had an additional surgical suite built to allow gyno oncology to ensure women with any She Shed cancers had surgeries ASAP. It's insidious and most women don't know they have it. I'm glad they agreed to take both the ovaries. Menopause is manageable knowing the risks are gone.
This is very serious and I’m so grateful to learn about it. Next weeks lesson cannot get here soon enough! Also looking forward to seeing if there is a way to test/examine the Epithelial like we must go through for other exams. Hugs and love to you, Barbie…😘💕💕
On a regular gynecologist visit , the doctor noticed a cyst on my right ovary with a suspicious mass in it…. I am 49 year old, so the doctor advised to remove everything, full hysterectomy with ovaries and tubes removed , histology report said it’s stage 1a LGSC…no chemotherapy is needed… being placed in immediate surgical menopause, I felt terrible, the worst symptom is anxiety and depression, with some urinary urgency … no one advised estrogen…. But I can’t function like this, I thought I want quality of life, even if there’s a possibility of sacrificing quantity… I took estrogen only, hopefully it’s going to work… all of this was only three weeks ago 😢
I can help you with this, my dear. You do not have to suffer. This is precisely the kind of thing for which I do one-on-one consultations. You definitely need one. I cannot tailor things specifically to you in a comment box. It requires much more information than you can give me here, and you deserve much more information than I can give you here. No two women are alike, and addressing your situation requires tailoring all the facts specifically to YOU. I do them all via online video conferencing. You can schedule at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I look forward to meeting you and helping you.
Yes, make sure you get a therapeutic dose. I take 2 mg transdermal patch twice weekly life changing. Unfortunately, you have to be the one to educate your physician.
@@andreacrouch36 I had to educate my OBGYN. That was almost 4 years ago thanks to this wonderful lady . I have done 2 one on one consults with her and it’s worth it. So hard getting this real info to the public
@@andreacrouch36 The "physiologic" dosage is different for different women. And getting the right dosage FOR YOU requires tailoring to your personal details. Nobody else can tell you what will suffice for your body.
@MenopauseTaylor I'm not sure if you have already planned to address this in this series, but I was wondering about how you feel about the current recommendations for women to not have oophorectomies when having hysterectomies - with the exception of cancer etc. I've been seeing that women who are 50 and over (even in their 60s) are being advised that keeping their ovaries has heart, brain, and bone benefits, even long after menopause - as they continue to produce androgens. What is your take on this? It's something that many women have to think about now when preparing for a hysterectomy.
Think about it: The very thing that makes ovarian cancer so deadly is the fact that it begins in the "Saran Wrap" (serosa) layer. And that layer covers all the organs in your entire abdomen and pelvis. Ovarian cancer spreads so rapidly to all the organs, that we rarely diagnose it at an early stage. If that's the case, why in the world is everybody getting bogged down focusing on whether it starts in the fallopian tube or ovary. That's insane. Who cares where it starts if the fallopian tube and ovary are in constant contact with one another and the spread is too rapid to distinguish which came first.
She talks about it non-stop, progesterone part is a MUST when taking estrogen, unless u have no uterus/ovaries. It what's protects you from cancer. You should watch her previous videos.
You are isolating a single study. One study is never the whole story. You have to use all the studies and apply everything in the studies specifically to YOU. The study did not study you.
@@MenopauseTaylor thank you so much for all the incredible hard work you do to help us understand and get educated. I truly appreciate it. So the new research says that the estrogen only HRT increases risk of developing ovarian cancer. What are your thoughts on that
