Stool Layering Red Currants

A brief overview of the plant propagation technique known as stool layering. We look at the process of setting up a stool layer bed for Red Currant (Ribes rubrum). This is a relatively easy propagation method that produces large, well established plants in 1 year, although the number of plants produced is less than other methods. It is a trade off between size and quantity.
